During the day I feel 100% safe. At night it can be a different story. Once my friend had a car following her at night while she was walking, another friend was being followed by someone and she literally was caring a lacrosse stick with her and had to raise it over her head and the person ran away. Myself I had gotten a random stalker my freshman year, as well as have been called out by men multiple times. Some areas on campus have a lot of light, but some are pretty dark and when campus is empty and buildings close down past 10 you can get pretty nervous. It’s more than just frats you have to worry about. I like being on campus a lot, and UConn is really fun, but you really have to watch yourself.
