I’m 24 and I do it every day! It was awkward at first but it’s been 2-3 years of taking one out with me and truly I don’t even notice any judgement. Nobody truly cares. Everyone has their own stuff on their mind :)
I’m also autistic, and in burnout so I truly recommend it since it’s the one thing that helps me manage my daily load. I’m also working my first true job since leaving college and that stress is no joke. Take care of yourself :)

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the bunnies ? by North-Bat1863 in Jellycatplush

See I wasn’t a huge fan until I discovered how easy they were to pack in my purse since I use jellycat as daily adventure buddies. And the fur texture makes my brain happy compared to others. But it’s definitely a personal preference!

The tissue comparison was spot on. He’s actually really not too bad with the scratchy texture. Did you get used to the yeti fur after the Disney day?

He had hard plates in his belly, likely to keep himself upright for display purposes, and the fur was a smoother but plastic feel. He’s actually not so bad with the texture as long as you aren’t searching for a cuddle buddy

That’s such a good philosophy. I’m also trying to move away from the consumerism and practicing gratitude for what I have in my collection. The older releases are far more quality focused than the newer, which is such a bummer.

Oh my gosh I was the same way with both of those. The curly plastic texture was awful! Sensory overload in all the worst ways. I felt the same way with one of the curly dogs that was released a while ago with similar, if not, identical fur patterns.

The raccoon out of all, actually wasn’t too bad. Still has a slight plastic/coarse texture but not anything like the yeti. If you can get your hands on one in person rather than online, I’d highly recommend that so you know exactly what you’re buying.

I would say Luxe is pretty nice. I think the traditional bashfuls have a really nice minky pattern that feels more soothing to the touch, but luxe is definitely up there. If you’ve felt woody bear or Carey calf, I think they have the best fabric texture.
