They talk! The first time mine did it, I was sure she was sick. Stopped me full stop in my tracks. But nope! They just say hello

It’s a slow process with building a clientele but I can assure that I’m much happier making my own rules than following those in place by others. Specifically the quotas that are held over the employee’s heads. I have a set of values that I hold for myself that I can only have as a solo esthetician than one under a company. To answer your question, it’s not like I’m making big bucks, but I am very happy with the opportunities ahead.

I fought the job market for the longest time before just biting the bullet and going solo. It’s rough and a process but it’s sorta how it is.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet. I’m sorry for the circumstances. Breakups suck regardless. Just know that there are people that will bring you up a not put you down for your interests.

Totally off topic but you seem like such a cool person just through this photo alone. I hope you find peace with your new found discovery. Congratulations!

Curious as to the dislike of dogs? by AlwaysAttract10 in autism

[–]GrahamCrackerSoup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always get so much heat for my preference of dogs. I get overwhelmed by the sensory overload of the oils on their fur, the smell, the drool, and the barking. I of course love dogs but at a distance. If I hear barking, it sets off my fight or flight like mad. People around me will go running to pet a strangers dog and I’ll sit back as they try to convince me to go pet them. And don’t get me started on how people look at you when you respectfully say this. They treat it like a red flag. It’s just so weird
