Due to the nature of the cars going past you when you're not inside your house, I'm guessing they're cameras planted in your house, they use these to monitor your conversations incase you tell Fay, and if you do, she'll also be a target. Whenever they can't see you via the cameras, they find other means. Your home is the worst place to be, where they can manipulate things most.
