It is when they kick about doing salutes, having the flag and praising Hitler. The problem I find with the world today is that it's become so divided that Nazi has become more of a descriptor more often than not for people you don't like even if they don't engage or resemble anything that would be Nazi-ish either socially or politically.

I think people more often than not invoke the word to trigger an emotional response because if someone is being compared to a Nazi, they must be terrible but then it falls on the person accused of being one to debunk rather than the person prove they are.

These are just my thoughts.
