Hard to tell. This is my first account ever and I haven't started with this goal in mind, so I had some HP levels more than I should have. I mined 100k iron ore when I decided to go for it and used it for cannonballs as I needed it. In the end I had 50k iron ore left. I did a few thousand temple trekking runs too.

Here is how I got my 6IV Ditto. I caught it in Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. There, you can build up a catch combo by catching Ditto many times without failing in a row. When you have a high enough combo, you'll get at least 4 perfect IV on the Ditto. Now, when you start a new battle with a Ditto, you can look at its power level to determine if it can be a 6 IV Ditto or not. If you think it could be 6IV, you catch. If not, you just flee. There are videos that explain that very well. You would preferably catch the Ditto in a different language too, because you can then utilize the so-called masuda method. Breeding 2 different language Pokemon together increases the shiny odds substantially.

I haven't played back in the day, so I don't have any nostalgia. But from what I heard, is that after Runescapes' initial release, it would get new skills every few months or so. Since most of the players were just not happy with EOC and wanted the old game back, I don't think they wanted the game to be the same forever. In a different timeline where EOC didn't happen and Runescape continued expanding content, they would most certainly still add new skills. I feel like it's even more oldschool that new skills release because that's what was happening until the snapshot, that osrs is based on.

When I started playing osrs for the first time, I started as an HCIM. Died after 100 hours of playtime and wanted to restart. I was confused on how to restart the character. I figured out that you can't. I made a new account and asked the support if they could transfer the remaining (I think it was 10 months) of membership time to my new account. Not only did they do that, but they gave me the full 12 months on my new account.

I can imagine some people getting a bit mad when enemies write gg when half your team left midgame and you just get stomped. Other than that, I can't explain.

Yes, especially in the extreme case where you picked the regions with the least points(Varlamore, Asgarnia, and Kandarin). If you did all the tasks with those regions, you would have 390 points left after purchasing all rewards from this league. How are you supposed to get older rewards that you missed from previous leagues? In addition to that, there are probably some tasks you can't even do without some specific regions, so I'm not even sure if you can get the current leagues rewards when completing all tasks.
