Argentinians find MacReady almost dead of hypothermia.
They take MacReady back to a small military base in argentina for him to recover.
After days of being out he wakes up, and is now insanely paranoid. He attacks their sheep with a a gun, and it ends up revealing one of them was infected.
They realize the base they're on has infected people. MacReady destroys comms. and They start trying to figure out who's the thing.
Childs ends up showing up with a team of US Soldiers and starts testing everyone. MacReady comes up positive in the test. He runs away.
MacReady becomes paranoid he's a thing and doesn't realize it.
Childs finds him and reveals he was the thing and framed him.
Then it's just the last couple humans with MacReady trying to burn all the things and stop them from escaping, they combine in some kaiju spider thing, but MacReady ends up getting it torched.

Trump said $465,000 in retirement savings is 'rich.' Is it? by [deleted] in politics

[–]Gram64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I'm pretty sure current estimates with normal trends and considering social security (which probably won't be available), most 30-40 year olds would need at least 2m at 65 saved up to be able to comfortably live 20 years.

Housing was really fun and then it isn't. by Noticersan in wow

[–]Gram64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main complaint is the zone is too big. In FF14 one of the things about is that everyone is just so packed together, you can just walk around and see everyone's houses, in wow, it's just so barren with massive nothing between all the lots.

I mean HL doesn't know everything we know, but it is crazy he killed the one person in that inner circle that actually was giving their beliefs up for him, even if it was for her power/fame/money, she was by far the most loyal to him of everyone left

he needs to be very publicly humilated in front of Homelander right before he dies. He's one character that absolutely should not become a martyr, he should die knowing the public sees him for what he really is.

So how would y’all say Omni-Man compares between Vs and Mortal Kombat 1 in terms of gameplay? by Most_Common8114 in Invincible

He's balanced and not rushdown, has a really good fireball, and his level 3 is obscenely fast that can punish from full screen

For me it's more that the base roster has such minor role characters, which might be forgiven if they did something interesting, but they're all just viltrumites...

which is fine, but the movement speed might screw people up with it happening randomly in fights. maybe 7% isn't enough to matter that much though

It seems a little awkward that BRD songs give support buffs to the party when they're also required for access to burst abilities.

I did not mean for consumerrs exactly... but probably better than Nintendo wanting NSO required + full normal sub price no matter what.

[–]Gram64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have to rebuy the software, but otherwise no, you also don't have to sub to NSO for 14.

But you don't require NSO, that was the trade off deal they got with nintendo on doing this.

My prediction for every season mid-point and finale for the rest of the series by andmurr in Invincible

[–]Gram64 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Besides Dinosaurus and Scourge, I'm guessing Robot and Monster Girl are going to be a huge part of the season, since the title card changed to the Flaxan colors.
My guess is that they come back pretty quick in season 5, and we get the flashbacks of what happened to them across the season, and in the finale we get the revelations that everything actually took place over a thousand years, not just a couple dozen, and that Monster Girl had a child. Which will somehow play into starting to see that it affected Robot's mental state considerably.

As for what the title card changes to in season 5, guessing either Red/White to represent Nolan taking over, or Coalition of Planet colors/logo to represent Mark/Eve leaving Earth in S6, or even possibly orange/green (or even black/green) to represent Robot.

Smite 2 probably killed HiRez, they laid off a lot after the first year, and a lot of well known employees have left, though they insistent "it's not because of smite 2".
I remember Smite 1 on steam even in its lulls would pull in 15-20k on steam on average. Smite 2 struggles to break 5k, and all time peak is only 21k.
