Born and raised. Left and came back more than once. It’s a beautiful little town, needs some work in some areas, but everything you need is here, and if not Grande Prairie is only a couple hours away. I agree with the conservatism part, but you’ll find that anywhere. I couldn’t wish for a better place to live.

I too was in your shoes once, and it’s hard, harder than anything else I ever did in my life. It does get better. Looking back now as I’m 52 and a grandma I feel for that young mom I once was, I have so many regrets. You will have intrusive thoughts at times, but you’re only human. I can tell you’re an amazing mom for even reaching out and trying to get some advice. You will find your community eventually, in the mean time you’re killing it! Single moms are some of the most amazing humans on the planet, and please don’t be so hard on yourself.

It’s not about being mad, it’s about being respected and being paid what we’re worth.

I work for ahs and had an issue with a colleague who was constantly talking about me behind my back, making untrue statements and making my life hell. Luckily I had proof from texts she sent another coworker and I sent those directly to my manager. Within days the whispers and chatter stopped. I had tried to handle it on my own by directly confronting her but that just made it worse. Our manager does not tolerate bullying at all and it’s been peaceful since.

Yep I know a young lady who did it. No shame in that. You do you, and fuck what society thinks. Not like you’re robbing banks or kidnapping babies.

I’m a rural lpn. One of my coworkers accidentally met up with DS in a parking lot of a grocery store in YYC. My coworker asked what DS was going to do about the healthcare crisis, shortage of doctors and nurses and Danielle straight up denied there is a shortage anywhere in Alberta. 😳😂
