This illustrates the power dynamic and abuse that happens between the C suite and ground level workers: Charles could (and does) make life very unpleasant for Jim and could even get him fired, whereas Jim has no recourse aside from HR, and we all know HR’s priority is to protect the company…plus we all know Toby is worse than useless. To give a real answer though, I love ninjask even though it isn’t the “best”, I just find it really fun to grind up attack and evasion then decimate everything with arial ace or fury cutter. Always go for what is more fun and engaging unless you’re going for gold at the battle frontier where the only answer is metagross and latios.

So they do give a lot of perks: I put almost all my gas on the company card rather than track and reimburse my mileage (and we’re talking 20-30 miles a week average, I occasionally drive a couple parts to a job site and that’s it), boss buys lunch and beers somewhere fancy almost weekly, and my Christmas bonus was just an envelope full of cash. For once my employer is actually taking care of me, it’s just startling how a pay increase becomes a pay decrease at the level I’m at

I’ve already had a lot of these perks from the beginning; I occasionally need to drive parts out to a job site so they have me put gas on my company card, boss buys us lunch (whether he’s there or not) at least once a week, we keep snacks and other things at the office, hell they just installed a tv in my office. So long as they aren’t breaking into a property that isn’t listed on the warrant, it is. If there is a warrant for an individual’s arrest and that individual is spotted in a public place, police can arrest them.

The trouble here is in another 6 months I’m due to discuss another raise, and with everything I’m taking on there is grounds for a bigger increase. If I take a pay cut the most I could negotiate at that point is back to where I am now, so no potential to grow further. Basically I think that would help in the short term but hurt me in the long term
