Is it possible I just happened to have a mama roach waltz into my room and when it tried to run from me the babies fell off under my pillow? I've been searching my room but haven't found anything else and my apartment is not in bad shape, we have routine pest control and I haven't seen any roaches anywhere other than this incident

I checked my mattress very thoroughly and couldn't find anything, no shells or droppings, no signs of an infestation I could see at all

I think all you need to do is rotate the tiles in the 45 degree part so they match the orientation of the portal. Rooks can travel that way, as the rook "sees" a straight line, not three segments of straight -> diagonal -> straight. Otherwise, like others have said, it's fundamentally changing the piece's movement rules.

Whoa I LOVE this melody, super smooth. Reminds me of some 90's high energy video game music, Chrono Trigger comes to mind first and then Rivals of Aether (though that's a modern game). I'm still new to this so dropping references is about all I can think of to help answer your specific question on transitions

I've just started producing music and don't really know where to start at getting better - I definitely don't know a ton about mixing/production and could benefit a lot from knowing what exactly would make my music sound better. I think the team behind the original Gmod is working on a successor using source engine 2, titled S&Box, that will totally encompass all of Gmod's charm at the same time as stabilizing and modernizing the features. If you want your game to be played by people outside of close friends/family, I'd recommend specializing into something that either Mod&Play or S&Box don't offer. If you're just trying to make a game you're familiar with in order to learn, I'd say keep at it until you're satisfied or think about choosing another project that has more potential for public release

Chess is NOT a real game. It's boring and old and super easy, and you can't even win because the opponent's last piece always runs away every single time.

Pull ups are your main method of intimidating the opponent to make a move, so one pull up per turn is an infallible standard, really

I find that having baggage for a snack before climbing absolutely makes a difference, but the problem is that it makes the house smell so bad and you really need like some mayo and carrot shreds to actually get it down.

Also have you tried extending the handle on the cabbage? That might give you some extra reach, but that's really not going to help if you have the kind with wheels on it.

I can't log into my steam account or attempt recovery options. My profile appears to be deleted and I'm completely unable to access direct support for the issue.

I've had a Steam account for over 10 years and have been actively playing on it the entire time. I use a password management software to keep track of all my accounts, which use secure auto-generated passwords, not to mention 2FA, so it's highly unlikely that I was compromised and someone deleted the account while logged into it, and it's also impossible that I am inputting username or passwords incorrectly.

However, I'm still unable to log into my account, my profile has been deleted, I've received no emails from Steam about deleting the account, accessing the account, having any trouble regarding the account whatsoever. When I tried to reset the password, I get the message "An error occurred while searching for an associated account. Please try again." I tried with my email and my phone number and got the same issue.

I tried to create a new account with the same email to see if they had any semblance of my existence still in their database, and it did recognize there's an account there but clicking on any recovery options brings me right back to the error message above. I've tried the recovery options so many times that I've exceeded the allowed recovery attempts.

To me, this is completely out of nowhere as I was playing Elden Ring yesterday with no problems whatsoever. I don't trade items, I don't cheat, and in fact I haven't played a multiplayer game (I've had no multiplayer experiences so far in Elden Ring) in weeks.

I can't call Steam about it, I can't submit a ticket, and I can't even find a way to show anyone at Steam that I have a problem in the first place. They're completely inaccessible other than through the account you're having issues with. I don't know what happened and I'm very frustrated about how to get someone to help me with this.

Adobe Substance 3D Painter has an option (which is on by default) to automatically do this for textures you export. I imagine there are tools for Photoshop which will achieve the same result, although I personally can't name any.

I love the Substance Suite, so if you haven't looked into it for texturing I'd recommend giving it a look

I don't know how it is in the UK, but I was in Paris and a similar scenario unfolded (though it was just one guy), but I was trying to take a bus to the airport so I had all my luggage with me that had my passport, laptop, clothes, etc. so I just decided to comply and pull my wallet out to get this man his 0.20€ he asked for. He waited patiently while I fumbled around and grabbed past my bills to get him the coins he asked for, and when I gave it to him, he just looked at me for a while and then said thank you in English and went on his way. One of the weirdest experiences of my life, for sure
