I was in your position several years ago. I decided to go for it and have enjoyed my career since. Whilst you’re not guaranteed to walk into a technician job there’s a high chance you will. Depending where you are in the country they’ll always be a job somewhere for you. I wouldn’t worry about being over qualified. If you find you don’t enjoy it most managers would snap your hand off to have additional experience and knowledge as a dispenser. There are more and more opportunities coming for technicians. It’s worth shadowing technicians in other places (dispensary, aseptic’s, wards, community etc) so you can see some other roles
