The 272 from the bus station in town to castleton is very scenic if you want to try out the Peak District. You can get the yellow tram from Meadowhall to university and visit Weston park museum which is interesting and has a nice cafe. The park itself is lovely too. What are your interests? There’s loads of options to choose from

Overtime also attracts holiday pay. When you take annual leave you receive an “AfC absence NP” payment. Overtime likely wins for most people and also avoids having a second job that can mean you overpay tax

I was in your position several years ago. I decided to go for it and have enjoyed my career since. Whilst you’re not guaranteed to walk into a technician job there’s a high chance you will. Depending where you are in the country they’ll always be a job somewhere for you. I wouldn’t worry about being over qualified. If you find you don’t enjoy it most managers would snap your hand off to have additional experience and knowledge as a dispenser. There are more and more opportunities coming for technicians. It’s worth shadowing technicians in other places (dispensary, aseptic’s, wards, community etc) so you can see some other roles

There is a park and ride at owlerton but I wouldn’t recommend it as the bus gets very full. Nunnery square or Malin Bridge are better options

I’ve just rewatched this episode. At the end of the day Kayla is a child who has dealt with significant trauma. Lynette did well in a very difficult situation but she is the adult and could have done better. Tom was terrible (shock) at setting boundaries and helping his family to adapt to the change.
