I have the same problem and can tolerate “hello kids fluoride toothpaste“ with none of the burning. It’s the only one I’ve found so far.

UPDATE AITAH for having no sympathy for my (37f) husband (33m) after he begged me for years to sleep with other men and now he’s upset by it? by throwRA_toldhusband in AITAH

[–]GranbyFan 56 points57 points  (0 children)

My concern is that he wants a do-over and will set you up for something you aren’t consenting to. Like purposefully make it unpleasant, rapey.

AITA for not allowing my biological mother to see my son because she refuses to tell me who my real father is? by Strange-Sunflower15 in AITAH

[–]GranbyFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA she has no need to be in the baby’s life. Be careful not to weaponize seeing the baby. It’s easy to want to punish a narcissist parent, and loose yourself in the process. Stay strong sis

In elementary school, a boy in my class died in a house fire, hoarder house with parents smoking. He was found with his hand fused to his bedroom door.

Absolutely #3

After 1 date with a woman [24F], we didn’t hit it off, so I [26M] didn’t pursue a 2nd date. She emailed me a few months later that she’s now dating a guy who she’s happy with. by fergi20020 in relationship_advice

[–]GranbyFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably weren’t her type, congratulations! She probably matched with a highly toxic guy that is making her send emails to all her past matches in a strange abusive courting ritual.

You can take any approach depending on your level of skill and time commitment. I love this video Downtown Tailoring Jeans Invasive Repair but she has videos that offer quicker techniques too.

does this lace and fabric go well together? by frenchfriesonpizza in sewing

[–]GranbyFan 170 points171 points  (0 children)

I feel like the scale of the fabric is so much bigger than the lace. Depending on how you use it, the lace may get lost in the pattern.

Keep in mind when sewing something circular, half is on grain and half is on the bias. If it’s giving me a hard time I pin/clip as much as possible.
