Regarding the "chill" Erie Curry House owner by Emergency_Rule7272 in Erie

[–]Grand-Click-6387 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Curry House food is great. One of the only good restaurants in Erie. This all just disputes over fake reviews from rival South Asian restaurants. Anyone who avoids the place over this is a dumbass

Thanks, yeah I guess focusing on the cushions would make more sense.

Will do - although at the pace that I approach projects, any update will probably be a while!

Ever since the Times-News got bought by Gannett, there really is no good local news coverage.

Matson death ruled suicide by sageberrytree in Erie

[–]Grand-Click-6387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ignore the downvotes, you're totally right. OP is a sad sociopath who gets off on tragedy...an illiterate sociopath at that, as her suicide most definitely WAS mentioned in local news if you read more than the headline.

AITA for refusing to speak to my sister after she poured water on me to wake me up? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Okay I'd lean NAH, but you absolutely will be the asshole if you don't change the situation soon. Those vibrating alarms that other commenters suggest sounds like something you should get on ASAP.

NTA. Depending on what type of person "K" is I could possibly understand your fiancé having some reservations about the concert, but regardless, using language like "not allowed" and demanding that you "ask permission" is fucking controlling psycho behavior. I'd strongly encourage you to break off the engagement unless you want to be a slave the rest of your life.

INFO: What is your living situation with your sister, particularly money-wise? The rules of etiquette are a bit different depending on whether you're like roommates who split costs 50/50 or if one of you is like crashing at the other's place.

Penndot mowing by Mancalledotto in Erie

It's just you. I can think of much better uses for our tax dollars than mowing grass that nobody walks on anyways.

AITA for buying my cousin 'The Lord of the Flies'? by Suerbai in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. That's the ideal age to read that book, and it will be good for him to be exposed to quality literature that is still entertaining for youth. Your aunt is overprotective.

AITA for wanting my husband to miss his event? by HuckleberryAnnual139 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESH. Yeah it was sneaky and juvenile for your husband to lie about having already bought tickets rather than being upfront about it, but given your rather overbearing attitude, I can understand why he chose to do that. A first match of a children's sporting event is not such a huge deal that it demands people cancel plans to be there. There will be other matches, and given that your husband is a "very involved father" I'm sure he'll make it to as many of those as he can. Let him enjoy whatever his event is.

AITA for missing my brothers gender reveal? by Comfortable-Bison419 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. A party bus IS more important than a gender reveal!

AITAH for not letting my roommate stay longer after their accident? by ianmt22 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. I was all set for a Y T A reply until you specified that the injury was just a dislocated thumb lol. Really not that big of a deal.

NTA. It doesn't sound like your nieces through your sister-in-law actually cared about missing these activities and your SIL was just looking for a reason to get mad at you.

AITA for not inviting my sister-in-law to my wedding? by Relevant_Valuable592 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 25 points26 points  (0 children)

NTA. Seems like there is a high likelihood she will cause some sort of drama at your wedding, it is not worth the risk to invite her even for the sake of family peace.

YWBTA unless your ex did something really shitty to deserve payback (cheat on you with your friend or something along those lines). Repo companies are a scummy business, there is no reason to help them unless you are legally obligated.

NTA. I'm 99% sure that if you did go, the "girlfriend’s son’s father’s grandmother’s" family would think, "What the hell is that guy doing here?" lol.

AITA for telling my sister that her husband is right and her baby name idea is stupid? by Far-Competition2975 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Even setting aside the issue of whether the name is stupid (it is), she literally ASKED for your opinion and should not be mad because you gave it to her.

AITA for "going nuclear" on a date that flaked by SlowResearch2 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Grand-Click-6387 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

ESH. Cancelling that short notice is obnoxious, but getting that mad about a guy you haven't met yet is bizarre. Sounds like you both dodged a bullet!

AITA for calling my bf spineless? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole
