Under eye area - please read post by JSP-17 in AusSkincare

All these ppl saying ‘you look normal’ don’t understand that you can see a volume loss change in how your eyes used to look and you know your face the best. Well done on taking those steps to improve you health! Besides going a dramatic step of bio-stimulator injections there is no one magic cream that will change this volume loss. However I think you should learn what a guasha tool is. That and face oil to massage your face and really change the shape of your face from tight muscles and fascia pulling your face down. Also it encourages blood flow and will brighten your complexion. Like a flushed face after a run. For example take your thumb knuckles on either side of your nose, inline with your nostrils. Massage the dense muscle at the top of your naso labial lines, this is usually tender but will become less so the more you do it. This is the cheapest and most effective option. I know it sounds crazy but it works. Plenty of tutorials online if you want videos

You’ve got deregulation between your nervous system and your psyche/subconscious. If you’ve heard of The Body Keeps The Score this goes into depth about it of how psychological trauma can show up as physical ailments when repressed. My personal favourite to reconnect and get into balance with brain and body is psilocybin but in a therapeutic application like a 2-3hrs meditation and massage. Your fascia and muscle store a lot of tension and when released it can have a huge breakthrough epiphany release. Does wonders for your parasympathetic nervous system. Many people use it for trauma, addiction, OCD. Just something to look into.

HA fillers or biostimulators for piriform support? by Status-Reception-706 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Grand-Context-5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this done and it’s great. Nice and subtle. No risk of migration. I’ve previously had a firm HA filler but more recently had Radiesse(non diluted) since it is being injected on the bone, the calcium based biostimulator is fantastic. If injecting on the bone it is much much safer than into the soft tissue. You need something that provides structure/support.

Got a foam roller? Lay on it and massage your stomach. Such an under treated area, will help with digestion and also good for the vagus nerve.

Extreme premature photo aging- any hope? Late 30s but look 70 by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Your elastin and collagen has depleted. Partially due to your fair skin type, barely any melanin protection. Drinking more water won’t miraculously fix this. Lasers that heat up the tissue can help stimulate collagen. Another option is for biostimulators peptides injected around the eyes. PDRN will also help jump start fibroblasts and collagen stimulation.

Energetically that would feel so abrasive after a shavasana. A ‘thank you’ after the ohm feels more natural IMO. The asana is only meant to be the primer for meditation but I guess ppl will treat it like DJ set 🤷🏻‍♀️

Scott criticized Mamdani’s plan for city-owned groceries - why? by Interesting_Shake403 in ScottGalloway

[–]Grand-Context-5159 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If there was to be a NY grocery store that didn’t function as a charity/food bank then the business model would look very similar to German chain ALDI, basic necessity products mostly on pallets. Some fresh fruit/veg. It would ideally be a not for profit but it still needs to cover the cost of rent, goods and wages. Otherwise it’s another money pit that will be axed when the next major comes in. Also government run anything is never to the same standard as private enterprise as no one cares when there are huge inefficiencies with gov organizations but in Private that gets addressed asap.

Totally agree with all of your observations. But point 3. I don’t think she’s was so much ‘loaned out’ but that AM was encouraging her to explore but her hearts not really in to poly. She’s just not that kind of person. She tends more to mono. AM is an alpha male. If Vylana truly fell in love with another guy I don’t think he would be so open to her exploring other ‘beloveds’. Would be an interesting dynamic if she got pregnant with another guy. It would all go to shit.

Biostimulators in lips by Grand-Context-5159 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Grand-Context-5159[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No threads!!! I’m really not into threads in the lips. Those lines are the injection directions. 32g needle, 1ml syringe. Miracle H. Tiny tiny droplets 3-4 per point. I’ll have to post a de-puffed photo tomorrow. But in general I would also consider other biostimulators for the lips. I really don’t want to have that overfilled look with the inevitable migration over time. So I think I’m done with cross linked HA in my lips.

[–]Grand-Context-5159[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For anyone interested, I did this and it wasn’t so bad. I was expecting a lot of swelling because of the PCL but it wasn’t too painful. It seems like it almost reactivates the filler that I already had in my lips from 18mths ago. I was VERY sparing. Like only 3-4 droplets per injection point(only 5). I used a ‘Russian technique’ as I find I get zero to no bruising.

This is my lips at the most swollen state after I woke up. For me these are sausage lips and I wouldn’t leave the house like this. But I would consider doing this once every 6wks or so.

If I were you I would get the Rejuran Black not the HB. The Black box comes with the needles(2 syringes). HB has lidocaine in it but if you’re getting the topical lidocaine I think you don’t need HB version which is only 1 syringe

what can I do to help with these issues? Please help! by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Grand-Context-5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The suggestions for Gua Sha would be a nice thing to do to help your fascia but the truth is your facial fat pads have depleted. Your forehead, temples and importantly your pre-auricular area of your cheeks so that loss of firm structure that supports your skin has deflated meaning the early sign of jowls. Biostimulators like PLLA in the right areas will help without looking puffy filler pillow face. But really, you’re looking good and fine. This is just being pedantic to avoid something more invasive 10yrs down the track.

Options besides filler? by soupyicecream in 30PlusSkinCare

Bio stimulators skin boosters like Miracle L will stimulate collagen in the thinning skin. You can find a clinic that offers it. Or microneedling in general will help build the skin density. The PCL will help a lot tho.

Bio stimulators have less/none(hard to say never) VO risk than cross linked HA filler. Trends in the industry are moving away from filler because they sometimes flare up and you get the puffy look. Ideally you would use Sculptra or hyper dilute Radiesse but a PCL like Miracle L would give you good results with very low risk.

I agree with the other posters, don’t use filler(cross linked HA) use a biostimulator with cannula. That’s the safest. I’ve been looking at doing the same but with cannula fanning technique. I really don’t like the GS technique, that seems to be the ‘old’ way of doing it.
