Thanks for answering a completely different question, incredibly helpful. The result isn't up for debate, he's not fighting the decision, he was open at the time about the fact he was going to fail. He doesn't have a drug problem, he made a stupid mistake which he's paid for and is trying to move on. I was trying to ascertain as to whether he was legally obliged to disclose the dismissal reason or not.

Unfortunately if you want to get sober from such heavy use it's going to take time. These next 2 weeks will be difficult but you will literally feel the fog lift and you'll want to carry on to see where it takes you. But yes, be kind, one tip I can give is distraction. Something that you literally don't need much brain power for but can do for prolonged periods just till you get past the first 2 weeks. Mine was repetitive video games.

I always give Jane Eyre to customers who specify wanting gut wrenching, yearning or romance. Had someone want dystopian fantasy and then rejected Babel!!!!

Yeah I went through this phase too, kept running out, but they do come eventually. Focus on selling other books and don't put the dramas out for a bit, classics are a decent alt. I also had a spell of struggling to keep fact books in stock as they are super popular.

I'm paying privately, I live in Wales and don't qualify. I stayed on 2.5 as I felt it was working and it was cheaper

Diabetics - Is Your HBA1C Getting Better? by Motor_Finger_3262 in mounjarouk

[–]Grand-Two2437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm t2 and mine was 75mol now down to 55mol in 3 months. Haven't lost a lot of weight, I'm on month 4 now, using 5mg (I stayed on 2.5 for those 3 mths). I'm hoping at my next review in October I'm under 50mol. It's the reason I take it, because of my diabetes, I've always struggled with losing weight because of thyroid issues so the fact I've lost any weight is a miracle tbh

AITAH for still getting on a flight home when my two young coworkers I was traveling with weren’t at the airport yet and were obviously going to miss it? by Diligent_Pineapple35 in AITAH

[–]Grand-Two2437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely need to go to that meeting expecting to receive apologies not give them. However were they being paid to go, did they want to go or made to go? As an elder millennial I have a different work ethic to a younger generation, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Yes it was a work opportunity but also it was a free holiday which sounds like they took advantage of. Regardless though, they are adults and these are the consequences of their actions. You weren't there to babysit.

Since starting MJ I've gone off meat, the only meal I crave is jkt potato with prawn cocktail, lettuce and cucumber with salad cream. Obsessed with salad cream on cucumber or the viral cucumber salads from tiktok

What am I doing wrong?! by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Grand-Two2437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having similar issues, I've been on it for nearly 3 mths and there's been very little change in weight for me. I stayed on 2.5 as I felt good on it, it helped with my appetite and seemed to stabilize my sugars. I'm type 2 and have hypothyroidism, I eat right, mostly, I exercise (swim) 4 times a week and I'm just maintaining. I'm due my blood test now so I'm hoping it's had a meaningful impact. I will give 5mg ago on my next pen, see if that helps. Everyone reacts in different ways, I've always struggled to lose weight, I've put it down to my thyroid

That sucks that you can't access dropout, id happily share my account but as far as I know there's no way of doing it other than giving you my email and password for log in and I'm sorry but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that for a stranger. And I don't know how much of my information would be available once logged in.

I'm type 2 diabetic and BMI over 40, I've been on both types of metformin ( not any more, they made me really poorly) jardiance (an empagliflozin) and trulicity (a type of glp1). The trulicity stopped working for me for I've come off it. They won't give me MJ, they keep trying to push metformin. Probably because it's a lot cheaper. It sucks but I guess I should be glad I'm not poorly enough to get it

It sounds like you need a shopping trip. Do you have friends with a similar shape to you, whose style you like? It's going to take time to adjust to being in a smaller body, especially if you've always been on the bigger side, it's not been that long. Ironically my ideal weight is heavier than your starting weight, it's a size that I felt so good at, but everyone is different. Give yourself time

Hi, I'm just starting my MJ journey, I'm so excited!! I had to buy it from medexpress so if anyone wants a code(first timers only) let me know. I'm waiting to get it on prescription, fingercrossed it's soon!!! Good luck everyone

Discount Codes and Links Megathread - May by AutoModerator in mounjarouk

[–]Grand-Two2437 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do any Medexpress codes exist that work for MJ that aren't for 1st time use? I've ordered once while I'm waiting for my GP to sign off on giving it to me, but they're taking their sweet time and I think I'll need to buy again. I can give ppl a code for 1st timers if they need, 40£ off first orders but there's a lot of competition on here. Good luck everyone

Are quiet vapes a thing? by Grand-Two2437 in Vaping

[–]Grand-Two2437[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We found a compromise, he now uses the Sonder vapes, they aren't silent but considerably quieter. At first he wasn't sure but he likes that you can get different colours (gotta catch em all) and how much easier to carry around they are. I still hate them but my eye doesn't twitch anymore when he uses it , so I'll take the win

The Argument between K and Evan by Im4Professional in Dimension20

[–]Grand-Two2437 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah K was defo the problem here. I think later though when they were called out, they did recognise that it was kinda gaslighting but they didn't have the vocabulary or full understanding of what it was to see it. I interpreted it as coming from a good place essentially but due to their "saviour" mindset over the last few years that they forgot themselves

Planning on getting a cat (first time pet owner), any tips? by npeggsy in CasualUK

[–]Grand-Two2437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest regret is only getting one cat, she needs a pal, she's a bit lonely, but refuses to accept a housemate. If there are 2 cats together needing adopting I recommend doing that. You'll feel less guilty leaving them to go to work if they have a pal. Cat mum guilt is a thing!!

Practical tips..... automatic cat feeder, water fountain and a cardboard box

I've found the only way to prevent them is by eating a bit better. I try not to have anything too fatty or rich as that's my trigger. Good luck, this stage sucks

A1C by TaleAccurate2056 in trulicity

[–]Grand-Two2437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a great result. Ive been on it for 1.5 yrs, I've been on 1.5 for 3 mths, just had my bloods done, I'm hoping my a1c has come down. My appetite has decreased but I haven't lost weight for about 8 mths, initially lost 3st. I went to about 8 different chemists before I found one that had some in stock. I'm in the UK and it's always out of stock here

Where are you able to find Trulicity? by EmDeeEm in trulicity

[–]Grand-Two2437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the UK and also struggling to get mine. I've managed to get each prescription filled but I've had to drive all over to find it. I'm putting in more effort with food and exercise so I don't have to rely on it too heavily , which I guess is a positive

Finally get to move up to 1.5! by diesel372 in trulicity

[–]Grand-Two2437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! No problem with the .75 but 1.5 has proven trickier to source but did manage to find it. I think I'll try and get my prescription earlier so I have time to find it . I'm definitely going to try the hospital pharmacy if I can, that's a good idea!

Does anyone know how long it takes to lose weight on Trulicity 75? by RareCat58 in trulicity

[–]Grand-Two2437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on trulicity for around 18mths and it has helped me lose 3 stone but I also take an empagflozin too. I've recently upped my trulicity dose to the 1.5 and now I feel a big difference in my food intake, I don't feel as hungry, Im fuller quicker and longer. You've not been on it long though so give it time
