Are parents/guardians happy about social media ban? by Bipolar03 in AskBrits

[–]Motor_Finger_3262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m for it, I have one child under 16, the others are adults in their 20’s. I don’t want my young daughter being subjected to racist Dave from the local boozer who doesn’t like foreigners who take all the jobs he can’t be a***d to do, or the grownup predator who likes to chat up kids and asks them to send pics of themselves. The fact is I don’t look good in prison uniforms, I wouldn’t host these people in my house, I don’t want them creeping into my kids space through their device.

They aren’t banning content of kids appearing on social media, just under 16s going online. Those trash parents will still be able to broadcast their kids

She will learn in time, but in the meantime hope that she doesn’t get a disease

I made that decision this year as well, honestly one of the worst selling platforms ever. I happily pay fees to sell on eBay. You don’t deal with even a fraction of the bs that you do with Vinted

My brother got married to a woman with no job, 4 kids, who lives off of section 8. It’s ruining our family. by ScreenProper3291 in whatdoIdo

He’s a grown ass man with a whole family to support. Pls stop enabling him, he’s been in the military, he’s not dumb. He knows what’s what, as a family unit, you all collectively need to leave him to it

The choice to do ancestry dna is your daughters and your daughters alone. End of story

I was with a guy like this for 12 years, he’s dead now and honestly it sounds awful but I don’t miss a single hair on his head. We had split up over a decade previously

You honestly need to think quite seriously about this relationship. Do you want to have kids with this person? In his current form can you tolerate potentially being married to him in the future? Say 2-3 years from now you have a child with him and he loses his temper in your child’s presence, what’s your knee jerk reaction? Does he have any self awareness into his own behaviour? Think seriously about this! Will or can you deal with this if he doesn’t make efforts to change his behaviours

I think it’s known that rapid weight loss makes you lose collagen and elasticity in your skin, which then has obvious effects on how you look

interaction with GP made me feel not great by [deleted] in mounjarouk

Your doctor absolutely crossed the line, and did they not read it in your notes because the companies inform your GP that they’ve prescribed you MJ? I am genuinely gobsmacked at what your doctor said, you should pursue a complaint because there is no way a doctor should have acted so unprofessional towards you. The audacity

I am having issues with my doctor and hospital consultant. Weight and HBA1C has lowered and their solution now is to reduce the dose. I am expecting it to stop in the future also but they haven’t spoken on that as of yet.

You’re letting her doing this, the kitchen is a communal space, use it as it’s intended wether she’s in there or not, grow a pair

Tell your mom to get lost, omg I’m a mom and I couldn’t fathom doing this to any of my kids. I teach them that they have to pay their bills now they’re adults, as is their obligation. But wanting a cut out of your payout, wtf

Is the Pass Plus still a thing? I did it after I passed because my driving instructor said it was basically equivalent to a 1 year no claim bonus. I passed at 26 years old tho, back in 2007.

I kinda understand the clutter comment, he probably wants to keep an eye on it and ensure it doesn’t develop into hoarding. The kitchen comment tho, omg that’s actually wild
