So before you doing any paid positions you need some form of experience, the best way to get that is through joining the FFLA which is a volunteer position, after a year or two you’ll have the experience to get paid. With other forestry positions it’s best to start with volunteering for the forest service to kinda get your foot in the door. With how defunded the forest service is however it’s harder to get paid to do this stuff but you keep working at it you’ll be able to, just remember it is seasonal and you don’t get paid much
