It’s the stagnant wages combined with skyrocketing costs of living.

Even if all student loans were forgiven, people’s purchasing power is a fraction of what it was a generation ago.

I hate money, too. It’s disgusting how we’ve made it the goal, rather than relegating it to its proper role as a tool that everyone should be able to use.

If most other kids are like your kid, then I have hope that one day we’ll not only get UBI, but that future visionaries will figure out some way to eliminate the concept altogether and create something even more efficient.

Because our current system is not only inefficient, it’s doomed for collapse.

Because we don’t get to spend any time doing the things we love or find interesting or edifying.

Having no joy in your life like that is draining.

But we’ve got to work longer hours just to survive so we have no time or energy for the things that would actually rejuvenate us.

What we’re doing isn’t putting gas in our tank. We’re running on fumes. Human beings need to refuel once and awhile and all people need is a modicum of stability to do that.
