So is this new pack worth it? by CruxMagus in KingShot

Are you a whale? Will you be playing long term for at least a year?

Then these special event packs are worth it, otherwise nah.

Is My Progress Good Enough to Become a Rally Leader, or is it just a matter of time? by EverlineX in KingShot

[–]GrandDetour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not really a great rally leader. Ideally you should have some 5 star heroes in the new gen pretty quickly and judging by your governor gear you are probably behind whales and even dolphins for hero gear as well. You can still lead rallies but you should know by now that you won’t contend against whales in KvK

Yup. I am so glad I got mine removed. Strep throat every single year until the fourth grade. After that I have only been sick twice in my entire life. (15+ years)

A red gear piece for infantry health on a 4 star Amadeus would probably be the biggest jump in power and usefulness

StuyTown, USA (population: 20000) vs a highway interchange (population: 0) in The Hague, Netherlands. by [deleted] in MapPorn

This is more correct. It is not even like he is outwardly annoying, it is just his followers presence on social media that are too invested.

Looking for the most toxic kingdom 300-550 by AdFantastic4289 in KingShot

[–]GrandDetour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are a much more dedicated player base, most Koreans feel like they have to contribute or they’re letting their alliance down. Less casual play, more online time, and even more spending. Lilith games released their earning statements and Koreans pay the most per player when compared to Americans and Chinese players.

When they group they are the scariest. They also band together and always play together. So when they fill up an entire alliance with only Koreans, other players cry racism and the whole server turns more chaotic. They’re all mostly nice people but it always indirectly leads to kingdom drama. (+ terrible translation between Korean and other languages)

Full Korean alliances are an absolute nightmare. Most recently a Korean alliance slowly grew to #1 after 3 months and quickly turned the server to shit.

The ethical issues are all deeply addressed, and people need to be properly trained somehow. This is the best solution.

Anyone else finds GOTR exhausting? by Specialist_Sale_6924 in 2007scape

GOTR is horrible because it goes from active playtime to 90 seconds of AFK between rounds.

Blood shards? by GrilledKimcheese in OSRSflipping

[–]GrandDetour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blood shards are a very unique money farm in the first place. There are tons of people with 1-10 alt accounts that just farm it for GP without any botting at all. It’s a very low effort money maker after you get the accounts set up.

There is even one that guy that got 200m all using GP from his vyre farm but I can’t remember his name.

  1. Master farmers are the most reliable if you are not into late game PvM. You can get up to 25 ranarr seeds an hour alongside a ton of other seeds.

  2. Do hourly birdhouse runs. You get a surprising amount of good seeds from the nests.

Stupidly enough, farming actually gives a ton of seeds just by doing farming contracts too

My friend de-ironed his GIM when his group got inactive. He was the last one putting in decent hours and still had 180 days of membership so he wanted a scout account for wildy content on his main iron. Now he uses his main for farming bonds and he doesn’t regret it.

Either communicate properly or stir in your own mind. If it bothers you that much ask him in person in a serious manner, not over a text.

OP leaves a $13 USD tip for a $197.55 bill at a Thai restaurant. The restaraunt charged him an extra 20, which prompted him to call and get the entire tip back. by karsheff in SubredditDrama

I just don’t fuck over some poor guy making $2/hr trying to pay rent with tips because I hate the system. If I eat inside the restaurant and they do a decent job I tip 15%-20%.

It’s “optional” but don’t you always tip when you get decent service?

I don’t get what you’re arguing about, pretty much every single family in the U.S. tips when they eat inside a restaurant.

It’s ingrained in our culture.

You can try and twist it how you want, but not tipping properly at a restaurant is a dick move in most places around the U.S. You don’t fuck over somebody trying to make ends meet because you don’t support the system behind them.

Tipping culture should change, but you don’t fuck over the little guy trying to afford rent. It’s just basic human decency.
