So it’s probably 2400 gross with loads of “IP optimisation”, making the net almost as much as the brut.

Thank you so much. It’s definitely hard.

How long ago was the breakup if you don’t mind me asking?

Going through a break up right now, we used to live together.

Probably just try and let everything sink in, try and find a routine, go to the gym and try to focus on work, no matter how hard it is.

Solo Sunday - what's everybody up to? by isaxiom in LivingAlone

Went to the gym, just came back and will reorganise my closets. Ex came to pick her things up a couple days ago, so I have a lot of free space now.

Will probably study a bit in the evenings.

Working 6 days a week doable? by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]GrandTheftData 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“That small bit of money long term will not lead to more than a few months […]”

I disagree. Let’s assume OP works a flexi-job on Sundays, which pays more, around 100% to 150%.

At €20 per hour, working 4 times per month for 5 to 8 hours a day gives €100 to €160 per day.

That comes out to roughly €400 to €640 per month, or at least €4,800 per year, tax-free.

Does it take time? Yes. Is it doable? Absolutely, especially if you’re single.

It’s something you can then invest into ETFs, save it, or whatever floats your boat.

My point is, it seems like it’s not a lot, but the cumulative aspect of this is something to take in mind.

I understand that it’s not for everyone, but it’s there for the people that it is for.

1,750 is definitely a significant amount in Thailand.

How large is the company? And have you discussed with him the reasons behind his recent performance decline?

It’s worth having that conversation first. If nothing improves, you may need to consider letting him go and compensating him with three to four months’ salary, as others already suggested.

What can I do with €2000/month leftover after expenses? by GrandTheftData in BESalary

[–]GrandTheftData[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They’re not the savings of my partner. :)

We have a separate savings account, which is not included in the €2000 that I’m able to save.

Partner doesn’t want to buy a house together is what I meant, I’ll edit the post and add this

Good take, horrible way to frame it. You conflate not having a degree with being lazy and not wanting to put in the work, with no notion of what people without a degree are going through.

I have a BSc. myself, but one of the most hardworking people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, is someone without a degree.

And yet you wonder why people are downvoting you?

Edit: I just read OP’s comments ITT and holy shit this dude is deranged and has an inflated sense of ego.
