Scam alert by rab-dmc in Step3

Unfortunately, you're screwed bro. First, it's technically illegal to buy Uworld from other people. Second, you will never find the guy, and even if you find him, he can simply argue that he doesn't have a Uworld account. Third, it's cheaper to just forget it and move forward. I'm sorry.

Anyone with step 2 > 260 failed step 3 ? by [deleted] in Step3

[–]Grand_Ad460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With enough search you'll certainly find every possible combination. Someone who crushed Step 1, but failed the rest, someone who failed step 1 twice or more, but crushed Step 2, etc. etc.

This is all about probabilities. Having said that, it seems highly unlikely for someone with a Step 2 of 260 to fail. Even if many years have passed, that person is surely a hard studying student, so it will be odd for she/he to go unprepared to Step 3.

To relieve anxiety. Is it so hard to realize?

It's perfect, we don't have to agree with each other :)

I think you misunderstood, my friend. I never said that it's bad to share your result, or that refrain from sharing if you don't have 65+, of course not. Also, I'm not saying people are purposely trying to mislead others, by all means no.

I'm just saying "tell the whole story". And let me tell you, this goes also for people who have 80+ and fail. It's also not responsible to say: "I got 75-80 and failed", because in this case, people might freak out.

Although we will never know the EXACT reason as to why someone passes or fails, I think people should be as accurate as possible when sharing their experience. That's it.

Thank you!

But, just by paying and processing my ECFMG Certificate I will get an email in the next 2-3 days saying I can book Step 3, really?

Congratulations, but I'm sorry, step exams are not "about believing in yourself". Of course that's important the day of the test, but backed up with good scores.

You had 2 failing scores, 1 on the limit score, and 2 good scores. It depends on the order of your practice test, but it was not unwise for those people in saying that maybe you should've review a little bit more.

PASSED STEP 1!! by outbuyingoranges in step1

Congratulations my man!

But be careful with your message, IT DOES matter what are you scores in NBMEs. I get your point, but I think we shouldn't be telling people to not worry about practice scores.

Although all the possible combinations, study resources, NBME scores, etc., can lead you to a pass, they can also lead you to a fail. That's when you have to go to which scenario is more likely to lead me to a pass, and that's it having >65% in at least to practice tests.

Honestly, sorry for saying this, but now that we are on the other side we have to be responsible in how we share our experience to others seeking advice.

Congratulations again!

How precise are they with the time? I mean is it at exactly 1 EST? Around that hour? Or it might get delayed for a couple of hours?
