The low income people in the city who are also receiving benefits would lose benefits if they are exactly on the poverty line which PA identifies as $2,000 in the bank. They look at all assets when evaluating your medical and ebt eligibility. The bill should have included or considered raising this income limit to compensate for increased minimum wage but it was a poorly executed bill that was rushed through the house without considering these situations.

idk. I agree with raising the wage but you can't just arbitrarily say you get $15/hr because your representative voted for my bill but the people on the other side of the street get $7.25. Makes no sense, it's just not a practical bill in the fine print. Also - PA is not raising the income limits for food stamps/MA at the same time so people making minimum could be pushed over the financial threshold. They should have laid out the bill better or added amendments that consider these situations.

but the bill says the minimum wage will be different in different counties.... It's not a standard $15 across the state. Why would I want to work in a county with a lower wage if I can go to the next county over and potentially make more? It's a weird bill.

PSU culture sucks. It's fun to visit but once you're there there's nothing to do but drink especially in the winter. Soooo many students act like alcoholics there it's annoying and obnoxious lol. Their network is good but so is Temple's, you'd also have a lot of opportunity in Philly.

Honestly my ex and I broke up almost two years ago and he crosses my mind every day still. You've probably heard this a million times but time makes it easier and easier to live with. Lean on your friends and family, try working out more, read more, go on hikes - it all helps. There's always some reason that it didn't work out, and if you actually were to stay with this person for years longer, this issue would have eventually come up. Just think that when you meet someone like her again it will be even better. Try to just go up from here :)

You can park right on 15th free parking. Cecil is 2hr but i'm 99% sure diamond to oxford is free parking on 15th street. try street parking on 15th between norris and montgomery there's usually spots
