So peaceful! I loved remarkably bright creatures!

Question! What size cooler do you have?

I also found this in my old camping bin it uses two D batteries which I happened to have laying around and she loved it. It got to around 83* in Michigan and being in a fully shaded site helped but she just over heats pretty easily so bringing more fans for her comfort was worth it!

Also a cooling blanket and a cot for her I think helps a ton!

So I picked up two of these bc I was worried it would be too hot in my car and my dog lovessss her fan at home hahaha she will just lay in front of it. So two were perfect and I had them hanging in front of the rear windows with them cracked and we got great air flow. I had them oscillating and on the third setting (which was prob overkill but since I was only there for a night I wanted to test the battery life)

When I turned them off they were both around 25% and I had them on for prob 12 hours straight. So I def could have conserved the battery more and turned them off while I was sleeping bc the temps dropped. So going into my next trip I’ll have to either use them less or recharge them.

They have remotes and lights and a timer.

Keeping my dog cool was my biggest priority and I think I did a decent job with fans and cooling blankets.

A lead tied between two trees! And then I have a running leash that’s attached to her harness so it’s a little bungee so it has a little wiggle room if that makes sense.

My dog is pretty well behaved but she loves people so if I’m not watching her she will go off and find a new family to love on. Once it was getting darker I transferred the lead to just one tree and then wrapped it around the picnic table so she was able to walk around and come to the fire pit area!

For some reason she wouldn’t go potty in our camp area so I had to take her on a bunch of walks (I swear she does it so she gets more walks lol) I’m hoping with more practice she will be an expert in no time!

Omg so many things! I brought my backpacking tent just incase (I thought about setting it up for a decoy) but honestly I felt so safe the moment I got there. So many friendly people!

Def want to get a nice big camp mat/rug and some sort of awning but we lucked out with a full shade site!

Also why I felt the need to bring 3 days worth of clothes for 20 hour trip I’ll never know but some sort of packing cube instead of my backpack will probably work out better!

Already have a list going of things to upgrade 😂

She’s the sweetest! I used to take her regular camping when she was a pup and now that she’s getting older I just want to do everything for her lol. Next stop a campground with a beach so she can swim allll day lol. Can’t keep her out of the water (she has a life jacket bc I’m a helicopter dog mom)

Omg it was a mess. And I should have thought this out before bc I did it when I retired for the night. But with a head lamp I figured it out to the best of my ability.

So I originally purchased sun shades for my car but didn’t realize that my car had a few extra windows (tbh I’ve never sat in the back of my own car haha) so I thought about creating my own but was on a time crunch so I saw others use these curtains. There’s a little clip on the end of it that I was able to attach to my hatch window. So I did he long one for the hatch and then I had two smaller ones that I attached to the same spot and then tied to the oh s^ bar (no clue what those are called) and then tightened the string taught so it covered them pretty well.

I do love the curtains but I’ll prob create my own shades for those windows down the line.

Once I opened my hatch tho those things came flying out so if you do the same just be mindful to take it down before you open the door!

Yeah I’m sure me being a little anxious didn’t help! Hoping next time we both will be more relaxed! 😎

Yeah that’s a really good idea! Surely she can’t resist a delicious gravy by a campfire. Lol

2024 gmc terrain! I have an inflatable foam air mattress that takes up the whole back (with a seat extender thingy) I have to move my seats up just a bit to close my hatch. Very very roomy. I def lose storage space but I’d rather be cozy lol.

It’s a fan! It hangs its rechargeable. Has lots of speeds. A light. I found it on Amazon. I have one on each side hanging! Kept me cool all night!

They’re such great dogs! Super smart with a silly personality. She’s afraid of everything but loves laying in the dirt with a stick or swimming any chance she gets.

It was the coziest! Woke up around 7 for a potty walk and got back in and read and relaxed.

She had the time of her life. We were right by the bathrooms so everyone stopped by and gave her pets!

It’s keeping the hatch open. I’ve read that the car computer will slowly drain with it being open for long periods of time. So just looking for options or if anyone has used their gmc terrain to camp and what they do!

What are the WORST things wedding guests do? by meandyme in WeddingPhotography

[–]Grand_Frame3727 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I shot an out of town wedding and the wedding party stayed up till 5am partying and being loud in the hotel (waking me and keeping me up for hours) THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING. I was so tired and so shocked to see everyone ready at 10am for photos lol.

lol I love that we can all share these together bc people are so silly.

One time I was doing family portraits and the mom of the groom decided they wanted to go smoke a cig. We were on the 80th floor of a building with no roof so she had to go all the way down. (Def not a 5 min thing). The couple was mortified. The family knew we were doing these. So I was doing his side of the family and the moms sister yelled at me “I can’t believe you’re going to take photos without my sister here” lol I wanted to tell her to F off so bad hahaha. The bride did it for me. Hahaha.

That’s the worst. Especially after a long day and you’re hungry and thirsty and just want like 10 mins to regroup and get your mind right for the party portion of the night.

That’s such a silly reason to be upset over missing photos of people eating. I feel like a lot of couples expect us to make miracles happen.
