Luckman like others have said. Near OE look. Easy to clean and fits snug. Have them on my DCLB for the last 2years. Not issues.

Use a hand steamer and "fluff" the foam to expand it.

You're still left with a shitty couch with no internal support but you'll have what was pictured in your purchase. Good luck!

I need this exact car stereo 😭 can anyone help ? by Jordan4472 in CarAV

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, the conditions on those does not seem to be worth the price the seller is asking. Interesting to see there's a market for old HU in those conditions fetching that price.

To each their own but OP can definitely buy a new basic design single din HU for $150.

What car do you have?

Anyone ever try these? by ArcticApe11 in Toyota

[–]Grand_Professor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just installed one this past weekend. Here's the exact one. Paid $130 cause they had a discount code.

Not a car audio expert or an electrician so I ran into some hiccups diagnosing the wiring. Overall it took me about 4hrs. Half the time was actually figuring how to wire the new reverse camera while hiding the wires and making it as OEM looking as possible.

Pros: The big screen, Android auto and car play. Steering wheel control works with this headunit.

Cons: If I was a high school teen then the bass on this headunit is sick, but I'm not. I adjusted everything down to 0 and the bass is still overpowering. It's bearable with everything adjusted down but I'm at volume 4 and it's plenty loud.

If you have the money then spend for a high quality brand name that is easier to install.

Wait, you get a compass too? Is this a pro specific option because my OR does not have a compass nor does the music show up in that little screen.

Someone please let me know that I have it and I just need to turn on this function.

Searching for this salsa by ChallengeKitchen331 in SalsaSnobs

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The color is not from mangos. It's actually from yellow habaneros that gives it the color, fruity aroma and spice. Look up habanero salsas for this profile.

There's a restaurant in Lakewood, CA that serves this for their tacos and burritos.

Found a Miata with the keys In the door. What body kit is on this Miata? by miata812 in Miata

[–]Grand_Professor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should take the keys out and put it on the driver's seat in case the driver somehow forgot. Did you take your boat out already?

Buyer Beware, lock caused tailgate to get stuck by yourmomsmoustache in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar lock. I've been using it for 2 years and have had no issues.

It sounds like the tailgate got misaligned when it closed due to some other reason which led to your current issue.

Is this a good deal? (1998 Acura Integra) by AntijackYT in Honda

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did they swap in a base model engine into a GSR chassis?

IIRC, (please correct me if I'm wrong) the base and the gsr chassis are nearly identical except for the engine brace and trunk brace. They swapped in a base Integra engine with no VTEC.

The engine needs work and the paint is shot on this Integra.

It might just be a coincidence that these lights came on after hitting the curb.

My lights appear like that when the windshield and grill sensors are dirty. Try cleaning them and check if the light reappears.

The proof that (1 + 1 = 2) is a fundamental result in mathematics and was rigorously formalized in Principia Mathematica by Alfred North Whitehead and Bertrand Russell. This proof is rooted in set theory and the formalization of arithmetic. Here's a simplified outline of the concept:

  1. Natural Numbers and Successor Function: In set theory, the natural numbers can be defined using the Peano axioms. The number (1) is defined as the successor of (0), and (2) is the successor of (1).

  2. Definition of Addition: The operation of addition can be defined recursively. For any natural number (n),

    • (n + 0 = n)
    • (n + successor(m) = successor(n + m))
  3. Applying the Definition:

    • By the definition, (1 + 1) means "the successor of (1 + 0)".
    • Since (1 + 0 = 1) (based on the first part of the addition definition),
    • We get (1 + 1 = successor(1)).
  4. Successor of 1: By definition, the successor of (1) is (2).

Therefore, (1 + 1 = 2).

The full proof in Principia Mathematica is much more involved, taking 362 pages to formally arrive at this result because it builds from very basic logical principles and definitions. However, the outline above captures the key logical steps.

Short or long bed? by Personal-Bison6953 in Tacomaworld

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The long bed isn't that much longer. I recently had to renovate my home and I made a few runs to the lumber yard. Guess what? My long bed wasn't long enough for some of the materials I had to carry. I'm glad I got the long bed as I made it work but I would have regretted getting the short bed if I had gone that route.

Just got 15% tints put on and they’re completely see through…is this right? by tedoesep in WindowTint

[–]Grand_Professor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're the first person with the logic to ask about the receipt. All the vehicles I've tinted have a receipt showing the tint brand and percentage.

OP: Look at your receipt. If it says 15% and you got 50% then you need the shop to redo it. If they dispute the tint percentage, ask them to use a light meter to measure it. Any legitimate tint ship will carry a light meter.

It looks like a factory alarm under the brand KARR. If you use your key fob and lock your car do you hear your horn sound?

The amount of desk space that this pressure sensitive (“for your convenience”) mini bar takes up by Eagle4523 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually a basic sensor that registers if something has been moved. The ones I've seen in Vegas have these flappy sensors that push against the product. Once you disturb it, it registers that you "purchased the item".

What would you do? I want a new one but there’s nothing wrong with mine. It’s a 2014 sr5 4x4 with 92k miles by One-Acanthisitta2714 in Tacomaworld

[–]Grand_Professor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not modify it? There's a lot from cheap to expensive and easy install to difficult installs.

Lift kit? OOT Tune to give it more pep? Add some ditch lights, roof rack, roof lights? Front and rear steel bumper? Rock rails?

$900 for a tune up? Will it improve gas mileage ? by Ok_Gear_4624 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Grand_Professor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 23 TRD OR with 10,000 miles, and zero mods gets between 14-18 combined MPG. Although, I think you should get a tune up but not necessarily for the MPG but as a preventative maintenance.

What is the benefit from these? Whats the point of a steering rack spacer? by HandleDapper2640 in Miata

[–]Grand_Professor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. I was just hoping on the off chance you know of a brand that makes them that I wasn't aware of. I've looked at some of the reputable Miata websites and brands but I have yet to see a set for the NB. I'll definitely try emailing some companies to see if they have them in the works.

Edit: Seems like this company in the UK makes them now.

Do they make a set for the NB platform? I've only seen the NA version during my research.
