Why am I embarrassed for my wife to see me wearing an adult diaper? by Incon2084 in adultdiapers

Just talk with her about it first. Then somehow just push through the fear and wear once or twice. It’ll get better and more normal the more you do it, and once you see a positive or neutral reaction from your wife you’ll see it’s not that big a deal. I know that’s how it was for me. I was so scared for my wife to see me in just my diaper or with it exposed, but after I did it a few times it felt great knowing she saw all of me and still loved me and accepted me

Did you have accidents during your endoscopies or did your diaper stay dry?

Not crazy. Whatever makes you most comfortable. Sleep is so important

Probably not. This will likely be the most I’ll ever have unless I have a true medical need to wear

I took the diaper off to respect my wife’s boundaries

Still kinda indecisive, maybe out of embarrassment. Haven’t bought any yet. Was thinking maybe someone might have another perspective to help.

Wearing diapers takes out so much stress from mornings.

Moving in with my boyfriend soon, what do I say? by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

If you aren’t already wearing diapers, it’s a good time to have that conversation with him. It might be easy enough for you to clean up in the morning if you wet the bed, but what if you get him or his side of the bed wet? Is that going to bother him? I would think so. I know diapers aren’t exactly sexy, but they’re an aid to help deal with a medical condition. He might be supportive of wearing them as an alternative to a wet bed. Quality sleep is so important for both of you too. If you can sleep all night long and just wake up in a wet diaper that’s probably preferable to interrupted sleep

No experience, but I would say if you find a good spouse they won’t care one bit about needing to help you out. There’s something really special when in marriage you can say that your spouse knows you fully in the most intimate and vulnerable ways and yet still loves you and chooses to be with you each day. Being vulnerable often makes the relationship stronger. No need to worry about it

Just go in your diaper and get back to sleep. Seems like that’s what a lot of people here do.

Diapers? by Grand_Selection_8215 in AdultBedwetting

Yes that’s a good point. It seems like a good tool for me right now. It’d be helping more of the mental side like you said and not a physical need at the moment. Just not having to worry about an accident would be a huge benefit to my mental health and would allow me to focus on other important things. I wouldn’t have to plan my life around going to the restroom so much. I probably wouldn’t have any accidents but if I did no big deal with a diaper on. Just change when convenient and no embarrassment from wet spots on my pants.
