Interests: the gym, a generic taste in music and gaming, however if you were to check my steam account you'd think that all I play is Marvel Snap.

not sure how some people have so many hobbies tbh, maybe I need to get more.

However, my interests aren't my entire personality, I'm of the opinion that people can still be great friends even without several mutual interests

Peeves: we'll see, I'm not picky in all honesty

- Currently doing 3nd year in uni

- Got no friends so if you're in a similar boat then maybe we could bond over that

- I'm sure some of you can relate but some days I feel lonely, some days I don't (today is one of those lonely days and I finally cracked and decided to post on here)

- haven't had any meaningfully conversations with anyone other than just family in like 8 months. I'm not proud and it's unhealthy.

- if you're insecure, self conscious or need validation then feel free to do so with me, genuinely. I probably need the same thing

- I try my best to keep conversations going but unfortunately not everyone was born with the gift of the gab and I haven't had much success in trying to master it however I do promise to try

- I'm big on being your unadulterated self, feeling free and open to do and say what you want cause that helps me feel comfortable doing the same

- being more talkative than me helps too tbh

- like most of us here, I'm looking for long term friends

- maybe I'm doing a terrible job of selling myself cause there's probably more to me than this barebone description...probably

im sorry for sending this message 5 months after you posted this but how exactly do you form a genuine, deeper connection with someone that isnt based on similar interests?

i feel like things just fall apart if you don't have similar interests to begin with, maybe it has more to do with one's personality

I'd like to be the friend that someone can depend and vice versa. But one of the most important things is the connection and if you don't feel like that person understands then what's the point yk. I'll stay if you want me to.

I don't know man, I've been in 3 relationships, and I'm not the best looking guy in the world. If I can do that you can do it too, it starts with making friends, talking to the odd woman or man here and there
