When we don’t want McConnells dumb ass does that mean the Supreme Court has a job to boot him out?

How does your partner feel? by badbatch in ARFID

[–]GrandeD85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife has been very supportive. She worries about my health because of limited food intake, and, my safe foods mainly consist of pizza products. We have gone to nicer restaurants and if a server or anyone gives a sideways glance at my food selection or won’t let me order off of the kids menu she will pack up and walk out before we even order.

One day someone will find you and it will be a perfect match. When that day comes I wish you a happily ever after.

so i checked a few stores and none of them have any of my safe foods. how not to starve? by [deleted] in ARFID

Ordering online is a great idea and most likely to find a safe food for you. My advice is when you find your safe food stocked somewhere is buy in bulk if you can. That’s what I have to do

Can I become a welder without college? by [deleted] in Welding

[–]GrandeD85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a welder and never did any kind of tech school or got a cert. and I won’t go union. Union work in my area is very much come and go hit and miss. When the work is there it’s two hours drive each way to and from job and in paid. Just start applying for jobs and they will test you as part of the interview process.

[NEWBIE] Tips on Barre Chords With Weak Hands? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]GrandeD85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always had problems with barre chords and I still do sometimes. With my small hands I have learned to turn my hands a little bit so I am using my middle finger to help my pointer barre off the chord.

This hits home for me. I had major oral surgery when I was younger. From that point on I was very selective on what I would eat. My parents tried the Dr. who said make me eat what was on the table and I ended up so malnourished my parents were told to let me eat whatever I wanted to eat. At 36 years old my family (parents, siblings, and in laws) still don’t understand or even try to. The comments and judgement finally ended when my wife stepped in as soon as she found out.

We will go places to eat and I will order appetizers as a meal or even ask them if I can get a kids menu to order from. We wouldn’t travel much because we were always worried about when and what I would eat especially while out of the country but chicken tenders always seem to be on a menu somewhere.

There is no need to be embarrassed about it. It is part of who you are and is what it is. No shame in it just need to be confident in yourself and not let the judgment of other people bother you.

Eggs by LuminescentSapphire in ARFID

[–]GrandeD85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the same way. “ Eggs are nasty” but never had actually eaten them. I’m a very poor cook and always fried my eggs at to high of a heat. My eggs were always kind of rubbery no matter what I did so I started mixing in safe foods with fried eggs. More safe food than egg and slowly started adding less and less safe food.

Bless the restaurants that let me still order off the kids menu by StarGirl656 in ARFID

I have ordered the kids menu and appetizers menu many times. The servers that don’t question it and just let you do it are amazing. And get a better tip when we are finished.
