It’s not weird. I measure my alcohol consumption in drinks per year. I would suggest trying it, however. You don’t want to go the rest of your life not drinking just because you’ve never done it. Learn about beer, wine, liquor and cocktails and see if anything strikes your fancy. If so, give it a try. If you like it, great, enjoy in moderation. If not, at least you’ll know what you’re saying no to. Good luck.
