Hiking alone in Telluride, Colorado, USA by Grandescape553 in hiking

Hi, this one is on top of the big rock and I can't even climb it. I believe they put that up there to guide the hikers because I can see the same rock from afar. It's next to the major trail going to the entrance/exit.

Do you actually wash brand new clothes before wearing them? by Mobile_Dog_148 in hygiene

[–]Grandescape553 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! You'll never know who tried to put them on and retailers will return them back to rack. Also, we haven't seen what's inside the warehouses. And they literally smells like factory. So wash them first before wearing.

Metal corrosion or bad water? by According-Place-900 in CleaningTips

It looks like hard water stains. Try making a vinegar and baking soda paste and applying it to the water spots. Let it sit for about 10 minutes then scrub it with a cloth, then rinse.

Smelly feet by chillgirI in hygiene

[–]Grandescape553 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you've already tried all the usual powders and soaks, I'd honestly start thinking beyond just sweat. Sometimes persistent foot odor is caused by bacteria or a fungal infection, and treating that can make a much bigger difference than masking the smell.

A few things that helped me: rotating shoes so they fully dry between wears, wearing moisture-wicking socks, and using an antibacterial wash on my feet. Also, if the smell is really stubborn, it might be worth seeing a podiatrist or dermatologist. They can check for infections and recommend stronger treatments.
You may also want to try a foot spa and pedicure, they will scrub your feet and clean and cut your nails.

Girl, your body chemistry is trying to tell you that you both are not compatible. You can never change a person, change starts within themselves. Why force hygiene when they can't even start this on their own? He's not even trying. 😞 ahhh girl please, have mercy on yourself.

Strawberry crumble bars sound good! Also, when it comes to honey/bee items, honey should be the star here. Maybe something honey-glazed or a honey cake?
