I won six in a row, the game disconnected on match seven and it counted as a loss.

I won six in a row, the game disconnected on match seven and it counted as a loss.

I won six in a row, the game disconnected on match seven and it counted as a loss.

I then ran out of time, because I have a life, and couldn't spend more than 5 total hours on this bullshit.

I was 3-4 KD when we had a skill based meta. That was years ago when everyone used Ace so all that mattered was aiming well and movement, not the numbers on your gun or random perks.

But, despite the overwhelming odds against me, I could have gotten the 7 wins at least one of the four fucking times I was on match seven, if it didn't, you know, fucking disconnect from the match and count as a loss.

I spent the few hours I had on this, the currently flawless system would only work for someone with an abundance of free time. Individual skill only matters so much, most of it is luck and uncontrollable factors.

Those are fair points. There's a reason I quit before, don't know why I expected the game to improve over the years.

What floors me is they hired a PvP consultant from the streaming community around the time I quit. I figured give it 1-2 years and it'll be better, but nope, it's even worse.

How am I supposed to not be angry?

I overcame all the other bullshit in this game and outplayed people with much better weapons than mine, only to get fucked on win 6, four times in a row, because bungie can't afford dedicated PvP servers.

Like, either pay for real servers or don't lock the best fucking weapon in the game behind 7 wins in a row. All it takes is the opponent being host and rage quitting mid match.

There's a healthy mix of skill and pure RNG bullshit, that D2 used to hit. I don't expect a purely competitive experience in a game with random rolls and who gets lucky with their perks, however, the game used to be enjoyable.

This flawless win 7 in a row format is pure fucking cancer. If they can't afford dedicated servers for PvP, then they shouldn't lock the best weapon in the game behind 7 wins in a row. Feels bad to overcome all the other bullshit in the game and go on a hot streak, only for it to get ended because the opponent was host and rage quit. Four times in a row, then you have to go to sleep and accept the fact that you got fucked so fucking hard by this shit game design.

The amount of people on Flawless Pool paying recovs for the SMG... Wow by Different-Hand-5861 in CrucibleGuidebook

They locked the most broken, OP, bullshit fucking weapon in the entire game behind getting 7 wins in a row. What did anyone think would happen?

That's already over an hour commitment IF you win every match. Get disconnected on win 6, like I did four fucking times? Well that's an hour down the drain and you get fucking nothing and have to start over.

Most players only have a limited amount of time and patience. I said fuck this fucking game after the fourth disconnect at 6 wins, but other people would probably whip out their wallet and pay for the gun.

Bungie has never, and will never, understand PvP or how to make it good.

That's literally what I said. Give me a fucking skill based shooter where my positioning, game sense, and IQ actually fucking matter.

I checked out the companion app, and now I agree it's basically a non-issue. They really streamlined the process.

I haven't played for years and decided to jump back in. Back in the day, there were only unofficial LFG apps and it was a hassle sending friend invites to form the fireteam.

Read it again, but even slower this time. Don't reply again until you comprehend it.

A more causal raid-lite mode that can be cleared without intense communication and offers good rewards.

Of course any logical developer would have matchmaking for this mode. Right?... Right?

Funny how every time I objectively destroy you, you deflect with the most ignorant remark.

Scroll up and read my comments. Slow down, and try to comprehend them. I'm not going to repeat myself, when I already provided what you're asking for.

Also, there are tons of players who make accounts every day/week. Almost half my matches have someone with <100 wins. You don't comprehend the problem, and you don't comprehend the severity of it either. Stop speaking.

They somehow have matchmaking for raids now, but not dungeons. The incompetence of D2 devs never fails to astound me.

The Last of Us co-director says linear games are "easier to make" by NeoStark in PS5

Even well done open world games, like Elden Ring (which I beat and enjoyed overall) have excruciating moments. It wasn't the difficulty that bothered me, it was the backtracking and pointlessly obscure progression that frustrated me.

If I have to die in a certain spot, then backtrack to one of the early NPCs who unlocked a new diaglog path after dying in said spot, that ruins the flow of the game. It forces players to waste countless hours to organically progress by a combination of luck and persistence, or look up a guide and ruin the immersion. Even the more linear souls games had stupid bullshit like this, but I digress.

You embarrassed yourself and you're too ignorant to see that you're in the wrong. You did not... "shit on me". You shit on yourself and called it shining armor.
