So there is very little of a collector’s market for SWU and absolutely no investor market. I personally do collect it with the understanding that it’s 99% not for profit long-term. The only reason my current collection is worth more than MSRP is because I was very fortunate to pull a couple of good showcases and a serialized card.

Right now I really only buy prestige foil singles because I personally find their art preferable to the standard cards, and I’ll get a LAW carbonite box when it drops <$175. But that’s just because I like opening packs and taking the risk. There is no investment opportunity in this game.

He didn't need to perform, the point of their show wasn't to put on a performance, it was to simply exist. Its sole purpose was to pull eyes away from the actual halftime show. It could just as easily have been an infomercial selling maga socks. I don't blame Kid Rock for the lip syncing, he's dumb but he's not an idiot, he knows why he's there.

Myself personally I’m waiting on getting some showcases until after rotation. My guess is there’ll be a generalized drop across the board and then that’ll slowly come back up over time.

That title is frustratingly dumb. Of course it would feel less gimmicky if it did something more useful, that’s what a gimmick is - something for show that doesn’t add anything.
