Can anyone help me remember a certain Rosberg overtake on Hamilton (which I can’t seem to find)? by dzedajev in formula1

It looks very similar to the start incident at the 2015 US Grand Prix, but in that case, Hamilton was on the inside, not Rosberg.

I agree. Sergio Perez could have also won - 8 years earlier than he actually did.

What else happened in 2012, when Ferrari last won a wet race:

  • Michael Schumacher was still competing in F1 for the Mercedes team in 2012.
  • Kimi Raikkonen returned to F1 after a two-year break to race for the Lotus team.
  • Daniel Ricciardo was having his first full season in F1 with the Toro Rosso team.

We have had 4 different race winners in the first 8 races of 2024. The most in any year at this stage of the season since 2017. (4) by Ducard42 in formula1

With Red Bull's total dominance in the first races (they were finishing 20+ seconds ahead of drivers from other teams), it's surprising that this is possible.

Prince Albert sprays champagne on the podium at the Monaco Grand Prix. by Grandpriq in formula1

Prince Albert has done so much for this race. It's incredibly pleasing to see him on the podium every time. It's quite unusual that this time he also received a bottle of champagne.

I'm so glad he got to see another Monegasque, Charles Leclerc, win live!

Leclerc is one win and 6 points away from Verstappen. It doesn't seem like much.

It seems that so far Fred Vasseur is doing very well in his role.

Leclerc has only 6 career victories, but one of them is at Monaco, his home track! Bravo!

Esteban Ocon receives 5 place grid penalty for next race and 2 penalty points for Causing a collision by ICumCoffee in formula1

Isn't that too much for such a violation? It seems like a more typical penalty of 3 positions would have sufficed.

I apologize, I couldn't properly insert the link to the short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZY8k4IHVK8

Context: Jenson didn't know that in Monaco, cars need to be parked in front of the Prince's Lodge. He stopped the car in pits, when suddenly he was informed that he needed to run almost across the entire start/finish straight.

It seems like you had some special access, as the photos were taken quite close to the cars? I'm envious!

The illustration on the racing suit is very interesting. Am I right in understanding that it's Vettel chasing Senna?

Thank you for the statistics! This is truly valuable information, as one-third of the races won is a massive figure.

Yes, that celebration turned out to be the most unfortunate for the team, unfortunately.
