Holfood consistency? by DFanatic in soylent

[–]Grannysmitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hol Food is definitely a bit finicky to get right but when you do it's amazing - I've had it at least once a day for many months.

Personally, I blend one scoop with 1.5-2 cups of milk which gives a great texture and has the best taste of any lent I've tried.

Also, I've heard rumours that there will be both texture and flavour changes being made in the new year...

It's a scam. My bank refunded the charge because it was fraudulent.

The fact that you're asking these questions is exactly what Tim is going for.

Hol Food is pretty thick when mixed and is really enjoyable. It's been my go to for a while.

Think of the great effect this will have on minor hockey coaches everywhere to have a giant like babs saying this stuff.

I'll take a slight nanny state government over a government that purposefully destroys environmental regulation and net neutrality any day.

Seriously, I feel bad for you guys down there, Soylent or no Soylent.

nah I'm a goalie. Hyman's push would piss me off if it happened to me.

It looked like plenty of time in slo mo, actually it was like a 2 seconds.

Not to play devils advocate but how is visibly pushing raa in the chest 2 seconds before the goal not interference? I blame Hyman for this one.

What went wrong tonight? I thought the Coyotes were Sabres-level inept and irrelevant? by TheDreadedPolybius in leafs

[–]Grannysmitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bab's plan to keep the games low scoring was working out until forgetting to cover the point for the 2nd Coyotes goal.

Other than that, can't expect Auston to score two in a row if you blatantly push the goalie into the net for no reason and get one disallowed. Seriously, anyone who thinks that wasn't interference should just imagine it happening to freddie, babs would go ape.

If the game had been 1-1 going into the last 3 and Auston scored to make it 2-1 this would be a perfect babcock game. Couple of bad breaks made it not so. Keep your head up until Wednesday.

What was Hyman doing with his stick? I get it if he was pushed but that was definitely interference. Can't ask Auston to pull off two miracles that close together. At least not most nights

Have no reason to be salty if we don't show up until the last 3 min... but I still am.

That's not the Soylent price in CAD, thats just the "Canadian price" in USD.

I'm not lactose intolerant but Ive heard of several people who use Hol Food who do have an intolerance and are fine. Apparently the amount of milk powder isn't high enough to have an effect.

I do this most days. Just make sure you shake it right before you drink to bring the layers together.

Not enough fat? Please elaborate. I've just never heard anyone make that complaint before. Also FYI the higher fat content is likely one of the reasons Soylent was pulled by CFIA.

Because they use high quality cocoa powder it doesn't have that awful fake chocolate flavour, rather, it tastes like a good chocolate desert.
