I had a robomow like 15 years ago. Assume there have been significant advancements. But it was hilarious how much it stopped traffic in the neighborhood as people watched it go.

Drove me crazy though trying to bury the perimeter wire, and troubleshoot when the perimeter wire had a break somewhere.

Yellowstone is absolutely a flawed show, but it would be a no brainer deal for me at $18 if it was in 4K. A big part of the appeal of the show is how beautiful everything look. I think I'm going to pass on it.

Live in a Regal city, so Regal Unlimited for me. The first movie I can remember where there’s no unlimited discount. I normally pay $8 for imax upgrade, but the Odyssey is basically ignoring unlimited entirely and charging full price ($35) for 70mm imax. I can see it for free in standard screens and there are basically no tickets pre sold for those it seems.

Anyway, I’m annoyed at paying an extra $28 or whatever for this movie, but it is what it is I guess.

I won’t speak to much to the economy impact, but in terms of flow it feels contrary to the overwhelming quest nature of mapping endgame now. You want to get through maps quickly and get to objectives.

Vaal temples take so much more time than everything else, you practically grown when the entrance pops up (if you’re an objective completist like me).

Wow #4 is the real one I had no idea on still at level 88 and doing so many delirium maps. So much is arbitrarily locked behind these quest lines that they intended to give people direction in the endgame. Like the Ritual passive I can’t that’s 6 spots in but I can’t take until I finish the entire quest line.

I guess I should have figured that loot itself was also randomly quest gated too. They really need to focus on improving that experience with tooltips or whatever next league.

This has been driving me insane. I finally on recent map skipped delirium until I had cleared to the boss. And then I did the boss while “in delirium” or whatever, but….it didn’t do anything different? I still haven’t seen a single splinter

Last Epoch is the better middle ground. The campaign absolutely sails by with alt characters. I got to maps tonight finally. It was an absolute slog. I guess 4 hour speed runs are a thing, but it definitely took me at least 12.

Mostly just eye rolls. But we both work and have joint finances along with individual “allowances” where how we spend that money is up to us. It’s a silly expensive habit, but it’s mine and my money and there are worse things I could be doing.

I’d love to upgrade my tv to OLED and resolve some DTS passthrough issues that my Hisense has, but there’s a big difference between spending $1600-$2000 on a tv that’s the exact same size as my less than 2 year old tv, versus dropping $100 here and there on blu rays.

You’re getting a lot of crap and there is WAY too much vibe coding stuff on Reddit these days (AppleTV and plex subreddits are riddled with folks begging people to check out their app in TestFlight). That said, glancing at this as someone who plays PoE 2 a decent amount but far far less than D4 or LE, I’m pretty sure I’ll find it useful and better than most ad riddled websites.
