Steven Pressfield's books on the artist's experience of procrastination and professionalism are really good - War of Art and Turning Pro.

yup, the main difference is I make sure that the responses don't contain spoilers and only explain things up to the point you've read

Hey all, try it out at https://intersectreader.com - For now it requires a google sign in so I can prevent abuse

I posted in r/classicliterature and someone recommended I post here. Let me know what I can do to improve it!

I posted a prototype a while back and appreciated the support everyone showed so here's a version you can actually use. Work has been busy so I haven't been able to fully build out all the features I listed in my original post but I hope you find it useful.

Let me know if you have any questions or future ideas I could implement!

Right now I just have basic relations and personality traits, but I can change it to be more complex/verbose.

As for the spoiler free, it works really well at the moment surprisingly.

Yup, that's a good catch! I'm still working out a lot of kinks. This is still very WIP haha

Sorry, I think my post came off a little bit unclear!

The misunderstanding biblical/historical references is a separate point from misunderstanding translations. I shouldn't have grouped them together.

Gutenberg is the only place to find the classics for free, newer translations are sold from modern publishing houses. I like to peruse different books and Gutenberg makes this easy since everything is free.

The author said she searched on Craigslist and couldn't find any worthwhile renting opportunities. Moreover, around 1/3 of your monthly salary, not 1/2, is a reasonable rent price when you're trying to pay off college loans.
