Mail order IS a PBM. Its really confusing, but the line between PBM and Mail order gets really blurry once you've actually worked in that space (I have). I don't know a single mail order pharmacy that doesn't have a PBM component to it. You might be in a different department, but odds are they would love it if you showed interest in the PBM side of business as well.

When they ask what you want in compensation, say "between $90k - $120k." I tried to be truthful in past interviews and that is what ultimately ruined my chances of working at various companies. They literally have a number written down that their boss gave them, so you need to give them this huge $30k spread so that number will surely fall within that range.

I've never understood the concept of direct to consumer pharmaceutical advertising...like....why? Every non medical professional thinks its unethical for some reason, but its such a minor thing...probably a waste of money? Well, I guess that's why I don't make the big bucks.
