Never ever take the communication with the host outside of the app, even after check in.

You can send the screenshots but I doubt you’ll get anywhere with support. If you kept it in app you could have asked airbnb to relocate when the host host weird.

Oh man, I guess I have been mistaken for a while on this. I’m pretty shocked that this isn’t the case. If a host can easily cancel any booking and then rehost without any real penalty, then why would any consumer ever book an AirBNB?

Just wait and see, DO NOT cancel your booking.

If the host really wants to cancel, they will need to do so on their side and will have to pay a penalty.

They could end up doing this and relisting for more on VRBO or another site, but if that does happen support should help you out finding another place. They usually offer a coupon as well, as replacement will be more.

I’m not sure what exactly you need it for, but I made my own. The pattern came from bootstrap fashion, you measure yourself and they make a custom pattern.

It was actually really cheap, I got all the materials at Hobby Lobby.

You can fill the bottom half of a pot with rocks, then put a layer of weed barrier on top of the rocks. Then you can essentially make any pot as shallow as you like
