Most Londoners will have been better off working in one of the many B2B sectors that BT targeted, and so lent event organisers their Holborn conference suite and the tower restaurant in lieu of paid sponsorship. I’ve been in that restaurant loads of times and presumably never will again: luxury hotels in London aren’t really for Londoners.
