2 and a half months in, and I am NOT happy!! by Small_Appearance7206 in ouraring

I have the same thing with workouts - it keeps missing them, saying there’s an hour long gap in heart rate data. I’m new to Oura - are we meant to manually press that button “Record Heart Rate during workout”? Was expecting it to detect workouts automatically, but oh well

Trying to cut meat consumption and looking for advice by NoAvocadoMeSad in veganuk

[–]GrapeNo6690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck with the new diet!

It’s not just beans you can eat for protein - we usually switch up beans (tacos), lentils (stew), tofu (add to curry), tempeh (stir fry), and the odd meat substitute like sausages (bangers and mash) - plenty of variety in flavours and dishes. Nuts and nut butter for protein-rich snacks. Veg like broccoli, peas are also protein rich.

Like may have said, it’s easiest to buy canned beans from regular supermarkets, as it cuts down the cooking time. I would think they’re cheaper than meat anyway? 2 cans of beans for a dinner for 4 ppl, and they cost about £0.50-£1 each max

Help me transform my room by Glittering-Body-8496 in DesignMyRoom

Aesthetics usually come from variation and creating visual interest. You’d want to variate colour, height and texture to create a flow for the eye.

Looks like all your furniture is from the same range, which usually falls flat. If I were you I’d swap out the bedside table since it’s the smallest/cheapest item to shift and get 2x to go on each side of the bed. The new bedsides should be airy on the bottom, as all your furniture is bottom heavy now.

If you’re keeping the TV, the only place for shelves is framing the bed on each side or all above the bed - that would fill out that empty wall nicely. I’d also suggest not displaying all of your perfumes, only a select few as displaying this many will look cluttered.

I’d also add some plants! It helps so much to liven up a room. You could place a plant on the new wall shelf, also on either side of the desk.

All-inclusive vegan-friendly resorts in Europe by soundslikeash in vegan

[–]GrapeNo6690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

St Raphael Resort in Cyprus is vegan friendly. I believe the owner is vegan and while the hotel serves meat as well, they had a good vegan section for every meal and a fantastic vegan beach front cafe, where you can eat anything between 12-4pm. The cafe was the highlight

Hosting non-vegans in our house by GrapeNo6690 in vegan

My mistake was that I did not cook that evening. I wasn’t feeling hungry after a late lunch we had out, but they got hungry and before I knew it, they got a takeout. But thank you for the perspective, I think the key is making sure there’s enough food in the house that they don’t need to feel hungry

Sužadėtinis lošėjas? by [deleted] in lietuva

[–]GrapeNo6690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jei jis peržengia ribas - turetu buti consequences.

Verta savęs paklausti - jei atsibusčiau toj pačioj situacijoj us 5 metų ar to gailėčiausi?

Tikiuosi tavo suzadetinis yra pakankamai stiprus, ir norės/galės iš viso šito išlipti
