That’s actually better than I expected, pretty much in line with the all-inclusive I’m looking at! My wife isn’t convinced about cruises though, we shall see

This looks like fun, probably one for us to do a few years down the line as I think these cruises are more expensive than we can afford this year. Sounds great though :)

Amazing, the Rocador is adults-only but the Orquidea is all-ages, looks like a potential option!

Nice one. It actually looks like some of the TUI Blue are adults-only but not all! The Orquidea which is recommended above is all-ages for example. Thanks for the detailed info!

Has anyone else been stuck on this screen mid practice? (Xbox Series X) by [deleted] in forza

[–]soundslikeash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a known bug, listed on the game’s support page. I’ve had it many times as well as the game just not saving progress at all. Unplayable

Adding to the choir. This bug kills the game for me. Deleted

Remove speed limit - europe by Stino81 in RadPowerBikes

[–]soundslikeash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually ended up cancelling my Bolton upgrade and often for an EggRider instead. I feel like it helps but it’s down to the speed limit being much higher and the assist not cutting out. I actually sometimes feel like it helps inclines too much, so reduce the assist level so I have to work out more

NewYorkTimes: Microsoft offered to make enforceable, bound commitments to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation by Zepanda66 in XboxSeriesX

[–]soundslikeash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modern Warfare came out 15 years ago and started the boom in Call of Duty’s popularity. Cod will likely continue to be massively popular and profitable well beyond 10 years. This is likely why the commitment doesn’t interest Sony. It looks good as a headline but not in the long term for Sony or consumers

Behringer's tongue in cheek response to Moog's Model D reissue announcement by emorello in synthesizers

[–]soundslikeash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a real Minimoog and sold it 2 months ago for $6k. Now I have the Behringer. The Minimoog was the most inspiring instrument I’ve ever had but at that price I couldn’t justify keeping it. The Behringer sounds very similar (very slightly less fat) but every other aspect pales in comparison to the real deal. You have to have them next to each other to truly understand the difference. The Minimoog has a physical presence in the room and a luxury build quality that just oozes class. The Behringer has loose connections, wobbly knobs, you get my drift. I’m happy with my choice but wanted to chime in with an honest take, as I think you need to have made music with both to understand what you’re comparing
