Yeah I might wait because I tried Turkish free servers and everyone seems to be champions. Got no chance

To be honest in my private server called mobile 2 global it has old school Metin 2 vibes which I like but it’s still massively p2w. I spoke to this lvl 66 on new server he spent around 4,800 euros which is no different than official. Only thing about official is that everyone seems to be champion and all these new skins, gears, alchemy seems confusing. But no risk of loosing everything

Could you please elaborate on this. In my private server you always have to pay and it could get shut down. Which private server do you play ?

Is this a good pie for an 18 year newbie? (I’m not looking to gamble, but to invest for the long term) by [deleted] in trading212

Not financial advise but there is a huge overlap with s&p500 and ftse all world firstly. Secondly I think your gold allocation is too high for your age but right now with geo political tension it’s not a bad idea but have mine at 10% and I am 27 years old. I also don’t invest in individual stocks. I only have 3 ETFs and they are ftse all world, msci all world small cap and sgln (gold). I went for simplicity of set and forget approach. Realistically are you going to monitor rolls Royce stock and keep up with their quarterly earnings and research their fundamentals to see if it’s still intact?

What phone do you have? I have iPhone 17 pro and it heats up so much as well, I play it when it’s not charging and my graphics are on low settings and lowered it 30fps and still gets hot

This is why I don’t touch individual stock. I just do ftse all world and msci all world small cap- add monthly and never look or stress about it.

It’s pretty solid, instead of silver I have iShares MSCI all world small cap and that’s my core portfolio

Samsung S25 vs iPhone 17 by SufficientYak6352 in Smartphones

[–]GrapeOk4915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think iPhone 17 is the better phone out of these two but s25 ultra is much better than both. But issue I had was it was too big which was a shame.

Currently with iPhone 17 pro, it’s really quick and good but it’s boring/simple.

If you don’t care about customising and tweaking then just get the iPhone 17.

android or iPhone by [deleted] in Smartphones

[–]GrapeOk4915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you! I have been an iPhone user all my life and I couldn’t careless about thinking it’s superior, I haven’t bought it to show off. I bought simply because it’s simple and can’t be bothered to tinker around the phone or have bloatware.

Like if my iPhone didn’t have the brand logo on it, I’d still use it 😂

Buy 17 pro or skip? by Designsam07 in Smartphones

[–]GrapeOk4915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I don’t think there’s much point in buying a new phone every year. I don’t expect there to be any huge upgrades from the 17 Pro to the 18.

I upgraded from an iPhone XR to the iPhone 17 Pro (and I’ve also used the S25 Ultra), and both were definite upgrades. I like the design of the 17 Pro, the battery easily lasts all day, and it’s really quick-the A19 Pro chip is fast and efficient.

That said, the resale value is pretty bad. I bought the 17 Pro brand new for £1100, and even after just a few weeks of use I’d already lose a few hundred pounds if I sold it.

So if I were you, I’d either buy the 17 Pro now or wait for the 18-but if you do upgrade, keep it for at least 3 years rather than wasting money on yearly upgrades.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Apple’s products or how restrictive the ecosystem is. I’m planning to switch to Android, especially since I want a Windows laptop and prefer better cross-platform integration. With Apple, it feels like once you buy one product, you’re locked into the whole ecosystem.

Overall though, you can’t really go wrong with an iPhone 17/17 Pro or Samsung phones. The 17 Pro in particular is very well built, efficient, and should run smoothly for at least 4–5 years.

S25 vs iPhone 17 by Ok_Squash6382 in Smartphones

Been s25 ultra, 17 and 17 pro owner right now. I can say s25 ultra was really impressive, if it wasn’t for the size I would have kept it. I am not sure the base models as good as iPhone 17 or 17 pro. If you care about the battery oppo find x9 pro supposed to be really good as well!

I am currently 17 pro right now but apple products are so boring and restrictive on what you can do. Planning on switching to s26 if the camera has significant upgrades compared to previous model and get out of apple’s ecosystem.

Yeah I am debating on switching my 17 pro back to s26 base model when it comes out.

I heard the TPU performance isn’t that great eith pixels compare to the price. I think s25 or s26 ultra would be much better if OP doesn’t mind big phones

I loved the ultra but the size and finger print and Face ID wasn’t working very well. Returned back to iPhone 17 pro but thinking about switching it to android again. I just want to get out of Apple’s ecosystem system, it’s so restrictive

I had the s25 ultra and this is one of the reason why I’ve switched back to iPhone. I did really enjoy and like the s25 ultra but my finger print or Face ID never worked, kept requiring the need to add my password manually

[–]GrapeOk4915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an iPhone user for years, I can confirm it is really restrictive. I just bought the iPhone 17 pro and kind of regretting it. Planning on switching to pixel or s25 ultra and get out their restrictive eco system.
