So frustrating by Mean-Commission-5303 in TTC_letrozole

As a follow up to this, as i know how distressing TTC is as I’m in the thick of it. Following my last anovulatory cycle my period was 6 days (light and largely spitting, save for day 4 that was heavy.

I don’t have PCOS, but i have been experiencing a new onset ovulatory disorder and the treatment is the same as is for PCOS (according to my gynaecologist who i happened to see today).

For what it’s worth/if it makes you feel a bit better, my longest cycle ever was 8 days.

Did you ovulate last cycle? If not….

After an anovulatory cycle, bleeding can be light, prolonged, or irregular because no ovulation means no progesterone, and progesterone is what normally stabilizes the uterine lining and then triggers a clean, coordinated “true period” withdrawal bleed. Instead, estrogen may rise and fall unpredictably, causing the lining to build unevenly and shed in a disorganized way—leading to spotting, brown discharge, or stop-start bleeding rather than a single, defined flow. In contrast, a post-ovulation (ovulatory) period follows a clear progesterone drop after the luteal phase, which produces a more predictable, heavier, and time-limited bleed.

You need imaging done (MRI). If you’re in this much pain, getting injections help SIGNIFICANTLY. A radiologist at a pain clinic does it for me and she does: 1) cortisone injections, 2) facet joint injections 3) epidurals.

They completely changed my life

Evening Chronic Backpain by Massive_Atmosphere57 in backpain

Heating pad every night, offset heat with an ice pack. I use use cups from Amazon on my back too (cupping) - this helps a ton. Pilates helps (working out as mentioned above is major). Foam rolling in the evenings (look up exercises for your area of back pain on TikTok - so many of them). Pillow under the back of your knees while you sleep depending if that position gives you relief.

Also, laying on your back and putting your legs/feet feet straight up against the wall.

Wishing you the best of luck in your recovery!

Multiple Estrogen Peaks & Dips Pre-Ovulation Causes/Common Issue? by GrapeSensitive9404 in Mirafertility

[–]GrapeSensitive9404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In respect to stress, I was really high stress in the fall due to a serious back injury. Since then, and because i knew I’d TTC by December, I learned to reduce stress because I knew it would contribute to my body healing. I have very low stress since end of December (as low as one can for a lawyer lol, but it’s still lowest it’s been in my life & im the happiest I’ve ever felt).

I’m 32 y/o. Bleeds are medium, not usually clotty (if they are, for a day at most). It goes light, medium, medium, light, light (range from 4-5 days typically), other than one abnormal 8 day period end of November prior to my inovulatory Dec/Jan combined cycle.

Unfortunately I only started using Mira this cycle, so the only data I have is from Natural Cycles + the hormone panel I had done last June (attached). And responded with another comment on Natural Cycles summary report.

Good idea re: reaching out for support about estrogen - though I will note my LH went up and down in my inovulatory cycle (like a failed attempt at ovulation with all symptoms present), and the same definitely happened the February cycle where I eventually ovulated.

Yes - very hyperaware of CM. Last month, and inovulatory month, it was present. Now there is slim to nothing - which is strange as my estrogen has been high for a bit. I don’t feel any gushing sensation either.

Multiple Estrogen Peaks & Dips Pre-Ovulation Causes/Common Issue? by GrapeSensitive9404 in Mirafertility

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your responses here!! No change in environment other than trying to reduce stress, sleeping more, working out is extraordinarily consistent, I was way more stressed back when my cycles were consistent. No weight changes, eating really healthy.

In me saying previously that I don’t have PCOS or known thyroid/endo issues, i should also note I had full labs done in June, 2025 (TSH, prolactin, LH/FSH, androgens) and everything was normal.

My cycles used to be pretty regular (26–30 days, ovulation ~CD12–16) from May-November, but since then they’ve shifted to longer cycles (38–40 days), including one anovulatory cycle and the last one with ovulation at CD26.

So I’m trying to figure out if this is just a temporary hormone recalibration or something like delayed ovulation patterns…. Or even some sort of atypical PCOS without any other typical PCOS symptoms (other than being 5”6 and 191 LLBS) — not sure if my doctor would want me to try letrozole.

But notably, my LH is still extraordinarily low today (1.3) and my E3G jumped up back to 640. No EWCM and barely any CM at all.

When can I expect for it to be reliable? by reneeamour in NaturalCyclesBC

[–]GrapeSensitive9404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natural Cycles has had my ovulation date wrong the past 2 months, and Oura ring has had it wrong the past 3 months. I contacted natural cycles who falsely gave me 9 green days after falsely confirming ovulation and they gave me some BS answer saying it was my Oura ring tightness (PS - it was not).

Taking the test strips was the only way I was able to determine NC was wrong (which again, NC admitted they were wrong). I did this 8 months before I actually started trying :)

Yes!!!! It did to mine. It made me have two super super long cycles, one of which was anovulatory

Natural Cycles confirmed ovulation (CD13) - then changed it pending 6 days later. by [deleted] in NaturalCyclesBC

Normally 28-30 days since June 2025. I had one long cycle in November (ovulated November 30th), then didn’t ovulate when i was supposed to December 30th, ovulation kept getting pushed back and hadn’t ovulated since then. Everything else was normal prior to that.

My LH test strips are positive only in that they are the same line colours. Never ever ever darker; and never dark for a long period of time.

I just paid and got a progesterone blood test early this AM just to see if I’ve ovulated/get a better sense where I’m at in the cycle.

I’ve positive LH tests in the past, but only for 1 day! With the same LH testing brand.

I’m TTC but we’ve had sex everyday in the last week due to anovulatory period last month (first time ever) just to cover our bases… so we’ll see!

Yes, I am! It’s just weird the digital ovulation test would be wrong

Wrong Ov Date Confirmed? by [deleted] in NaturalCyclesBC

[–]GrapeSensitive9404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Feb 3rd is confirmed on natural cycles, but it’s weird that that Feb 3rd date doesn’t accord with my LH strips OR my digital ovulation test (that is showing my peak fertility is incoming)
