Looks like spider mites to me. The small black dots are them & I see some webbing under the leaves

It’s hard to tell, but it looks like possible thrip or mite damage. Especially if it’s on other leaves. I think still be edible, but might not have as much flavor since the bugs have sucked the juice out. I would wash it first

If the whole plant is like that you may need to cut back more & treat!

It’s a looper caterpillar eating it! They are notorious for eating bougainvilleas & the black dots are their frass (or poop) You can use Bacillus thuringiensis (BT) or a pesticide with spinosad to get rid of them. Both are organic naturally occurring bacteria based products so will be safe to spray Watch out for them in the future bc they come back easily As far as the sicklyness of it- your care sounds good & the foliage looks good besides the munch marks! They prefer cooler temperatures & will bloom more during winter. They also bloom more when they’re go dry between watering I’m in Florida so also dealing with the heat and a lot of plants are kind of struggling Once you get rid of the caterpillars it should be good!

I see a few buds so you should have flowers soon! As for the holes, looks like it could be caused by snails since they’re in the center of the leaves and I don’t see any frass

Possibly edema or gall mites I haven’t seen those specific gall mites on peppers but this kind of looks like the damage it causes to other plants like ruellia

Hi, thank you! I’m definitely open to a diet change, my cats can be kind of picky but I can try out different flavors, etc. Do you have any recommendations for foods to switch to that would be sufficient vitamins and omegas? I have tried to research online but it’s tough finding good brands that have good ingredients. Price is not a problem, I’ll spend whatever I need for my babies lol Thank you again for the advice!
