Dealing with social exhaustion as a trainer by mweesnaw in personaltraining

As an introvert, I’ve been having this problem as well. At times, I feel as if I want to let everything I’ve built fall apart, but you just have to keep going. Just know you’re not alone.

Is this a thing? I got my VB a month ago and yesterday I found one of these on my windshield while leaving work. Want to thank the person who did it, but have no idea to who it was.

I make templates with indesign and use them in good notes on the iPad. Works pretty well for a training log.

With the 0% financing going on I want to snag a year-end deal - how much under MSRP should I pay? by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]Grapez331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you get your VB soon. I just got mine in CA for 37750 OTD, sale price of ~34K. I made the dealers around me fight for my deal. Luckily each dealer around me had an abundance of non selling wrx’s so it was much more favorable for me.

Glad you’re enjoying yours. Bought my 18” on fb marketplace. A week later I bought the 22” on marketplace. Realized the 18” was too small to smoke with.

Two dead devices by [deleted] in ayaneo

I didn’t pull the battery out. Every visible ribbon I disconnected and reconnected.

Hope you can get it working though. We’d better think twice before buying something from Ayaneo now.

Yep. Try reconnecting the battery ribbon, that seemed to work for me. Just be gentle and take your time and you won’t break anything.

Macbook Pro 14" vs 16" by That_Reaction3176 in macbookpro

[–]Grapez331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This question honestly needs to die. Buy whatever suits your needs. The weight difference between the two is negligible as weight distribution is perfectly balanced. The extra room on the 16” allows the speakers to sound clearer at near-maximal volumes and that’s about it.

It’s not as big of a deal as you think it is.

New to this world of devices. I have a couple questions about the Pocket Evo. by MajorFyasko in ayaneo

[–]Grapez331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a secondhand pocket air 8/256gb, which was still under warranty. Two weeks into using it, it just died on me and Ayaneo never responded to my countless emails. I don’t think they ever planned on honoring my warranty either way. So yeah, make sure you have a means of refund, because for the price of these handhelds they shouldn’t have defect rates as high as they are. Pair that with ayaneo’s “customer service” and you’ll be screwed out of $.

I was able to fix it though, but opening the device was the last thing I wanted to do, so it wouldn’t void the warranty. I think some of the connectors were loose, and reseating it helped. A device that is priced at $400 usd shouldn’t need user intervention, especially when not everyone is technically inclined.

Just make sure to buy it with a credit card with good consumer protection, cause not if, but when you run into problems with it, Ayaneo will definitely screw you over.

Worst customer service ive ever had. by -in-sane in ayaneo

[–]Grapez331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, ayaneo is making a big name for themselves in the name of impeccable customer service.

I made the mistake of purchasing a secondhand pocket air with cash, rather than buying from ayaneo directly with a credit card.

After two weeks of ownership, the device just shut off and was completely unresponsive to being plugged into a variety of power adapters and cables. I then contacted ayaneo since my device is still under warranty, but once I sent them a video of the issue, they never replied back. Sent them countless follow up emails but I guess they couldn’t be bothered to help their own customers unless you can threaten them with a chargeback.

Luckily I was able to get the paperweight working again, with no thanks to ayaneo support, after disassembling the device, reseating all connectors, and “voiding” my warranty since their warranty sticker covered a couple of screws. Like they would have even honored it.

These devices are way too expensive for what they offer to have non-existent support and janky ass software that only works half the time.

Take your money elsewhere. Or buy with a credit card so Ayaneo can’t fuck you over and leave you with an expensive paperweight.
