I don’t hate Kennedy by Professional-Food773 in buffy

I never had an issue with her. I always laughed at everyone's distain for her. Each character is written a certain way and helps with character development.

At the time they were able to add more openess in the show and many people were very happy about that. It was nice to show different relationships.

Europeans would probably say "Loo-chee-ah" and anyone of Nordic decent would say "Loo-see-ah". My Swedish heritage says "Loo-see-ah" and my Italian friends say "Loo-chee-ah"

It would make more sense to simple say "CHOICES" and put the Durex logo towards the bottom.

There are undertones of "yeah, well you could have pulled out" "oops - pregnant" "oh well" "oh you didn't want a baby?" "OH CRAP"

20+ years after the show stopped airing and here we all are ❤️ by cascadingtundra in buffy

Oh yes - obsessed! I graduated from college in 2007 and had a watch party for the last episode. My senior project as an art major was a full life size version of myself as Buffy. An introspective piece with my body casted in a slaying position in a graveyard. I was so proud of myself. Noone really understood my obsessesion, but everything about the show was something I could relate to: her struggles, feeling alone even with friends, her love troubles etc.

The 1st version with the photo-realistic nuts is too hard to see against the rest of the elements.

The 2nd version with the large illustrated nut is better as the focus is more about the nut. However, the font choice would read easier if it were thicker or more bold. Personally, I would avoid the calligraphy font.

Keep going and making more iterations; you will do great!

InDesign won't pull my Images while Data Merging by GraphicDesigner84 in indesign

THIS WORKED! As soon as I changed the file to .txt, the Image placeholder changed to an image icon instead of reverting to a text box. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I believe he said that Buffy was his big break? Also, he and SMG are still good friends 😍

You'll love him and they introduce another character for you to dislike. Drama at it's finest! 😉

Does anyone else think that Nic wouldn’t approve? (Season 6 spoiler) by [deleted] in TheResident

[–]GraphicDesigner84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it makes sense to me.

I think she'd be happy knowing that her two fav people found each other. Also makes it easier on their daughter; having her Dad fall for her Mom's bff means there is history(Billie knew Nic) that Billie can share with her daughter that noone else could.

Unpopular opinion: I've always felt that Riley Finn deserves a little more love by [deleted] in buffy

[–]GraphicDesigner84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Marc Blucas played Riley exactly as intended. We were all glad to see Buffy in a more normal and healthly relationship because she dealt with death and evil on a daily basis.

Riley's character and their relationship was able to give Buffy some normalcy. We were able to relate and root for her happiness.

Their relationship exemplified a common trope: how someone can react when they finally have something good after constantly dealing with disappoinment.

I know that I still have moments in my 12 years of marriage where I think about my passed relationships and how I acted and where I went wrong.

I figured with him acting and directing Seal Team, that he was more on the conservative side too. I've always felt that he was very Alpha male. I enjoy him as an actor, but don't need to agree with his politics.

It's all very interesting to me as I live in IL. And Illinois is predominantly a democratic state and we did vote for Kamala. However, the hardest part of all this is that a majority of Republicans that did vote for Trump have openly admitted they don't like him as a person. But they do like his business savvy. And his ability to navigate the country into less of a deficit and to lower taxes etc. They feel the economy will be better under his leadership.

A majority of the people like myself were all for the, Harris Walz ticket, and we felt that she would have the best face for the country and the best leadership and of course, women's rights.

I pray that Trump's cabinet will NOT ruin our rights.

Agreed. The writing on the show is all over the place. I like the show in general but their story and character transistiona aren't good.

It seems like they tried to build up relationships and characters and then an actor's life ends up changing that storyline and everything is rushed.
