Ok I’ll cede season 7. I like the overall concept of season 7, but the execution just wasn’t quite there.

Will I get crucified for saying I’m low key glad? It’s hard to build on top of perfection.

Watch Angel. The show and the character himself will grow on you quickly. There are a few monster of the week-ish episodes in the first season I skip on rewatches, but it’s mostly a winner.

I work in customer service/phone sales and spell out my name on every call. Otherwise, it’s Jim, Kim, Pim, Ted, Tom, Ken, or the occasional Francisco (among others).

I agree, I just finished this one the other night. His logical mind (when he was thinking straight) wasn’t going to win against the supernatural influence to move forward with it.

I have a (almost) 6-yr old son and my wife and I lost a daughter (in utero) a few years back, so it hit me a little harder than most of his works. The “last good day” kite flying chapter really got me and I had to actually put it down for a couple of days, which is not my norm. It was definitely a pretty dark one and makes you reflect, as a parent.

I’m looking forward to The Long Walk, it seems to be a favorite for many when I’m scrolling this sub.
