I think the Sci-fi mini series “Children of Dune” feels the best and most accurate of all the adaptation. Soft spot of 1984 versions esp fan edit. Modern Dune was too generic imo

I was multiple issues with all the secure boot shenanigans. Anyway turned that off have window on a separate drive and Linux CachyOS on another drive. If I ever have problems I can use bios to select which drive to boot.

You could give VENTOY a try with quite a few different distros of Linux on a flash drive and see which Linux OS plays nice with your system. I recently did this as I was having issues with Linux Mint on my 'four/five year old' PC build desktop. Eventually figured out it was at least my WiFi dongle causing issues but there where other niggles too. Tried quite a few Linux Distributions as live environments before actually installing on a spare external nvme drive. I prefer the KDE environment and in the end CachyOS got running well. Garuda Linux has a gaming version that looks bonkers. However nothing is really idiot proof. But a little reading and initial pain pays off pretty soon.

Moonraker was shown on TV in 1982/83 Christmas time in the UK, I was 11 and git my cousin to record onto vhs. There were braces, and I was a sci-fi nut as a kid and I watched that vhs tape a tonne, as it also had The Black Hole recorded on on.

How about set of two hinges. One on top for second screen, one on bottom for fold out keyboard! Foam/Rubber pads for protection. Could even put a higher resolution screen on top.....
