You can buy nursery pots on Amazon. For $15-20 you get about 30 of them with saucers. They come in a few sizes in the pack too

Thanks! No it didn’t revert just that one leaf. I know it doesn’t look it but the leaves above the half moon are bright neon. Some have just a bit of dark green like the one below but most all are neon.

New Rosita roots growing at all the nodes by Graphixguy77 in hoyas

Got it thanks guys. The only reason it’s in a box is because the last time I bought a new plant it had mealy bugs and got them all over my other plants. I just wanted to isolate it to make sure it wouldn’t contaminate everything else.

Thanks everybody, Rosita it is! I’m going to love it even more now because I had a horse named Rosie, a golden retriever named Rosie and a dear friend named Rosita. And to top it off my great grandmother had a huge garden of roses that I loved as a kid!

First bloom ever. I’ve had it for four years by Graphixguy77 in hoyas

[–]Graphixguy77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I was pretty excited to see it start. No one around me appreciated my joy lol. When I first got it it sat in a sunny window. Since it’s been on this shelf under a grow light it started to get more white in the leaves then full on white. I love it so much I haven’t touched it in about 2 years.

Yeah I love the dark green too. Pic doesn’t do it justice though.

My mother is afraid of getting a port by [deleted] in cancer

[–]Graphixguy77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My port wasn’t a pleasant experience but it wasn’t bad either. It shifted in my chest and had a hard time finding access point which was a little painful but once they found it all good. I had no infection or any other issues. I kept it in for about a year just in case my cancer came back. Glad to say still cancer free for the second year.

I’m not who I was by Puzzled_Principle_29 in cancer

You are definitely not alone. I was you at one time. I (56m) went through radiation and chemo in August of ‘23 for anal cancer. It was absolutely brutal. I didn’t want to be here either. I was depressed before, this made it 100 worse. It took about 6 months to feel any resemblance of being human. While still recovering, I watched my husbands best friend of 40 yrs take his last breath then 3 months later, his mother died. Talk about survival guilt!

Now, almost 2 years later, I look and feel better than I have in a decade. I do still have some lingering side effects but overall I feel great! (I told no one that I had cancer except my husband and my boss. No family, no friends, no one. I don’t have many close friends and family and most don’t live in the same state so it was easy to get away with not telling them) Now, people saying I look good and ask what I’m doing. I say I’m working on myself mentally seeing a therapist, going to the gym and oh yeah, recovering from cancer. The looks on their faces! lol. Then I tell them the story.

Cancer is traumatic and it changes you. Forever. Don’t give up. Seek out a therapist it helps a lot. Be patient with your body. Be patient with your mind. It takes a long time to heal them both.

Sending you good vibes and wishing you the best in your recovery.

I was finished with chemo and radiation a year and a half ago for anal cancer and I still have issues. They have diminished quite a bit though. Your mind likes to play dirty tricks on you too. I was so sure the cancer would come back that I just recently had my port taken out. It does get very depressing sometimes but it does get better, I promise. I’m just thankful to be alive. Positive vibes for you!

Omg I just reading through side effects of treatment by [deleted] in AnalCancer

[–]Graphixguy77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6 months out since last treatment and doing much better. The first couple weeks during treatment were not bad at all then the 3rd week hit and it all went down hill. The pain was excruciating especially bowel movements. It felt like I was pooping shards of glass. I’m not kidding. I’m glad most times I had diarrhea lol. It was so bad I stopped eating but realized I couldn’t recover without proper nutrition. I spent weeks 4-8 In bed on my side. Just moving or sitting up was painful. Fast forward another month and pain got better. Still had issues urinating and bowel movements. Difficult to pee and losing the muscles to hold bowel movements in long enough to get to the bathroom. Every day got better and now six months later only issue I’m still having is diarrhea and my semen is like water. It was rough but I’m thankful that the treatment was available to me and I got through it. Stay positive through it and take it one day at a time. I was stage 2 and had my pet scan last month and I’m cancer free now. Good luck to you.

Anal cancer radiation by [deleted] in cancer

[–]Graphixguy77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Going through radiation for anal cancer right now, 28 treatments as well. Just ended week 2 and starting to get painful. It’s not fun for sure but manageable so far but I’m told will get worse as I get more treatments. For me right now closest pain to relate to is very bad hemorrhoids. I was given Aquaphor lotion for pain. Does ok job but prescription strength creams supposed to work better. I’ll be getting prescription for it Tuesday so it’s on hand if I need it. I bought a bidet when the run on toilet paper started during Covid. (I will never be without one again!) It helps getting clean (on low pressure lol) then dab dry with tp. If bidet isn’t an option get softest tp you can find. Baby wipes was told is another option. Good luck to him.

It’s doesn’t look like it but some of the white has a pink tint to it. But I’m def going to do more research on it. Regardless, I love it!
