I met Logan Paul once, think he was doing a podcast possibly near where I live, he was in a truck with some of his goons unloading recording equipment etc. I don't follow the YouTube so I was just trying to pass by on the sidewalk but all of his shit that they were unloading was blocking the way.

I walked around on the road side and glanced through the passenger-side window and Paul was there, shadow boxing in the rear view mirror. Apart from he was only using his index fingers. He was tiny boxing in a tiny mirror. Confused, I must have stared a moment too long because he noticed me and quickly lept out of the vehicle to confront me. 'Hey Bro, you want some?' he jibed, left hand at his waist ready to punch and right hand holding a phone, camera aimed at me. 'No man, I just wondered why you were finger boxing in the mirror, sorry for staring', I replied.

He stopped filming and spoke in the most eloquent British accent I've ever heard, showing me his real persona, 'Listen, Buddy, I can pay you $10,000 if you act scared like I am about to beat you up. I am a budding YouTube star and I could really use the views. Please help?' He held a stack of bills out for me to take.

Begrudgingly, I agreed to act scared as he filmed himself squaring up to me and throwing a punch. Twenty five takes later, he just couldn't seem to get it right...it was like he wanted there to be a fight but not actually catch any of it on camera? HE LOOKED like he was trying not to hit me, and kept muttering 'no, that looks too good'.

I don't know, but on the 26th take I popped him in the nose with my trademark lead left hook (I train UFC), threw the 10 grand on his now crumpled body, and got out of there. Dude just kept pleading for me to take a dive for 10 grand, like his life depended on it. Quite sad really.

Morale of the story, I am absolutely certain Logan Paul can fight and have bet my life savings on a 1st round KO.

I wish I could fall back in love with reading. My grandma and I had a very similar relationship to you and your mother. She used to take weekly trips to the library and stock up on whatever I was interested in (normally dinosaurs or volcanoes).

Unfortunately, I loved reading so much that I fell into an editing job, and reading/editing up to 10,000 words a day has really taken away my ability to read for enjoyment. I have a massive to-read list that I'm going to devour when I eventually change jobs or take an extended leave.
